I'm having the same dilemma

I've been having a hard time with this, all of the people I know either has the 1.6G A/T or the 1.6V.

Based sa result ng homework ko sir ito yung mga advantages na nkkta ko sa Altis 1.6G MT (im leaning more sa MT for now)

IMO

pros:
- better fuel consumption (it will depend ofcourse sa driving habits, road conditions, etc)
- lower cost of maintenance and repairs
- lower cost of parts
- cheaper cost (879K)
- sobrang lambot ng clutch, masarap gamitin, responsive

cons:
- AT is better for ease of use
- hanging
- if na stuck ka sa traffic at bumaha, pahirapan

Ofcourse I'm still getting more info for their comparison that's why I'm here, please enlighten us

if you want better car response to your whims, go MT. it's also cheaper to buy and maintain.
if you want ease of driving and are willing to spend more, go AT.
there's a long thread here on MT versus AT. it's a long one, and in the end, there's no clear winner. it's still the driver's choice.

Not clear though when you said "she is mostly in binondo like traffic". kung ibig monng sabihin traffic at ang altis ay compact ang size nito then follow advised by dr d. dahil kung traffic mahirap magdrive lalo na sa newbie girl driver ( no offense ah) then practice practice muna sya bago mo ibili ng new car.

Salamat sa lahat ng nag reply.. She's not a newbie driver, when it come's to size no problem with her.. Actually suv regular car nya... Yung altis ang coding car nya po...

May mga Altis na may dash rattling issues. Kahit 10th gen Altis and 3rd gen Vios may rattling issues din. Very minor IMO.

Altis V bagay sa anak mo. Matipid, reliable, maganda itsura, madali idrive, maluwag.

Another option is a Jazz or City but I really don't see the point of buying a subcompact when malapit lang presyo sa compact.
