August 29th, 2018 01:42 AM #3123saken din low mileage. naka park lang sa parking lot since overseas kame, pag umuuwi lang kame nagagamit talaga. its only 30K km for a 2013 car. buti at hinde pa nag wawarp yun dashboard since hinde naman din babad sa araw.
thats the problem sa casa they will milk you dry sa daming nag papa change oil sa kanila araw araw mas malaki pa kita sa service kesa sa release ng sasakyan. toyota mineral oil naman lagi gamit and following the 5k interval .

September 1st, 2018 03:12 AM #3127need some advice mga masters...
yun 10.5 gen altis ko kasi pinalinis yun brake, pag bukas nung sa harap they found out that the left is already thin then yun right makapal pa. ang pagkakasabi ng gumawa kay dad is yun left 1 month nalang itatagal yun right mga 5 months pa. nung last na ginamit ko yun wala naman squeak sa brake hinde din pumapaling pa left nung nag brake.
ang recomendation ng shop is to replace both brake pads then kelangan daw i-rephase yun disc. ang tanong ko bakit kelangan i rephase, sabi naman ni dad maayos naman daw kain ng pads na manipis na, and i'm asking him to try to run his finger nails sa disc kung may maramdaman siya guhit.
the car odo is only 30k km. nakakapagtaka but i remember 3 years ago pinapalitan ni wifey yun shocks sa toyota casa kasi tumagas yun right side so pinapalitan niya both at naiwan sa casa ng isang linggo or more, i was really wondering baka na kahoy yun left brake pads namen.
bago ako umalis ni check ko pa mga fluids sa makina, ok naman level nung brake fluid hinde nag babawas at walang visible leak sa hydrovac.
is it fine na i pa rephase yun disc? i'm worried baka hinde maayos yun pa rephase lalo ako magka problema or palitan ko nalang muna ng brake pads then observe nalang after a few years kung ganun pa din ang kain sa left bago nalang ipa rephase.

Redoing the surface... not necessary imo. It's rather affordable though.
For the uneven wear of the brake pads... the brake caliper pin could be seized.. have it cleaned and greased.
Nakahoy? Most likely! Never leave your car sa casa!
Btw front shocks only takes 90minutes to do. If the mechanic takes 3-5hrs to do his supervisor better ding his performance review.

September 1st, 2018 01:05 PM #3129thanks for your reply bro.
for me its ok to re-do the surface if my car runs 50k or more with a driver that is heavy foot on the brakes.
yes i will ask them to make sure that the caliper pin is put back well. do i need to replace the caliper pin to be sure?
it happened like 3 years ago, we didn't know that practice previously sa casa's, plus my wife has a 200% confidence sa casa eventhough they charge ridiculously. what's worst is the shocks they replace is made in china pero with toyota badge daw, a kyb shock is way better. never again.....

You can tell the mechanic or s.a. that you suspect the brake caliper pin might be seized and that you want them to be inspected and greased and you want to see all 8 caliper pins. If rusted. have them replaced.

3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
