hmmm.. i guess that makes sense sir, maari nga pong sa driveshaft.
before i posted this query nag research talaga ko sir for 3 days at wala nmn ako nabasang issues sa tranny ng Altis, plus the fact nga na napaka smooth ng shifting ng oto ko, not even a jerk or even a slight "thud" sound eh wala.

update lag po mga sir.

I just had my 2012 Altis PMS last saturday, changed oil, change iridium spark plugs, checked everything & changed tranny fluid.

though the sticker in the tranny dipstick says no need to change tranny oil, still i opt to change it...good thing i did! the old tranny oil looks so damn dirty!

i thinks its a bad idea for Toyota to advice that WS AFT if for lifetime use.. i guess it isnt.

Balak ko na din magpapalit ng WS ATF soon. Considering the severe driving conditions here in Manila, hindi uubra ang lifetime fluid hehe!

Good evening mga sir. Off topic po: tanong ko sana kung ano recommended oil viscosity for 10.5 gen altis? At ilang liters din po engine oil capacity pag change oil? 1.6 AT

Hi Guys,

New owner of altis 10th gen. and it was my 1st car! I remember when the seller hear it, sinabi niya na "ang ganda naman ng 1st car mo!" which for me is + points to purchase this car. Hehe! Share ko lang, before buying that car, halos matapos ko ang thread na ito kakabasa. Good thing is, dami ko natutunan. Salamat sa mga nag share ng knowledge!

Sir anong viscosity po ng engie oil ang recommended sa altis natin? Ilang liters ang change oil mo?
