about the price of avanza nag taas po sila ng 40k sa G variant kc w/ ABS na daw and 2airbags na yata un... new vios will be available satin in august-september, ang laki ng ginanda nia sa old vios kc meron narin itong CVT and remote sa steering wheel...

Good day, I just saw an Avanza G w/ dual airbags. Can anyone clarify this?
If that's the case, does it has ABS also? Then it will be a good buy?

Mid 2007, Toyota has upgraaded the Avanza. The J now has a driver side airbag from none at all. The G from having driver side airbag now has fron passenger airbag and ABS.

The selling price of the J was increased by 10K while the G by 40K.

Just sharing what I know.

BTW, my J has driver side airbag when I got it Aug last year. The steering wheel was changed from 3-spoke (old J) to the G's 4-spoke (new J).

Hi marfin, yes, Toyota Rush is another nice model from Toyota (aka Daihatsu Terios or Toyota BeGo). My wife liked it so much in the photos. I guess we will get one for her when it's available. We asked about it sa casa pero wala pa silang idea kung kailan ang launch nito sa Philippines. We will just wait. It's a five seater compact SUV with a VVti engine similar to the Avanza 1.5G model. Similar sa latest Honda CRV ang kanyang shift knob location pati ang foot break (no more hand break lever between the front passenger seats). It's reportedly smaller than the RAV4. Toyota always seems to come up with very interesting compact vehicle models.

Yeah, I've been waiting for this Model since I saw the pictures last early 2007. Actually, there are 2 versions of the Toyota Rush: long wheelbase version : shown in the pictures, available in Indonesia, w/ dash board similar to Avanza) , & the short wheelbase version (available in Singapore & Japan w/ a much nicer dashboard). Both version are 4-door of course. The dimensions of the long wheelbase is similar to that of the '03 RAV4.

Share ko lang picture ng new avanza sa Indonesia.
Notice lang sa mga side skirt, front and rear bumper, at side mirror w/ light na...

At ung isang picture ay Toyota Rush., eto yung karibal ng avanza sa indonesia ngayon. It comes w/ the 1.5 vvt-i engine at almost ka price nya ung 1.5G avanza. Nako baka this 2008 papasok na dito yan ah.....
Kung ang avanza ay baby innova eto naman Rush ay baby fortuner.

Mas malapad ba yung Rush sa Avanza? May 4x4 ba to kc compact SUV daw?

Maganda sana out-of-town naman sa next EB with the family as suggested by spongee. I'll be home in March up to 2nd week of April siguro makakasama na naman ako with the family. Itapat na lang natin during summer para walang pasok mga kids.
