Magpakabit sana kami kahit yung Luggage tray lang.?
If not available in the dealer, they have it in the plant. Order time is about 4 days sa planta. I'm not sure if they still have office tomorrow, Dec. 30. If non, next year na. You can call 6712815 (direct line) or 6719854 to 64 loc. 301, 302 & 304.

Whats a front sunshade and scuff plate? What does the luggage tray look like? Is it really usefull considering the very small trunk space when the 3rd row seat is in place.

Spacious pala ng trunk sapce with the 3rd row seat folded. I was able to load a 20 gallon aquarium and stand.

You can check this site for the accessories: http://www.toyota.co.th/red/th/model...a_brochure.pdf

There is no picture of the front sunshade but the scuff plate is the 4th image at the bottom of page 8.

Another site is http://www.avanzaindonesia.com/you_w...a/accessories/ , but no scuff plate & sunshade.

Yung garnish, kasama ang cup holder and ash tray for 2nd row. Ito siguro yung hanap mo. Wala pa daw available.

Wow! That is such a coincidence, kasi ganyang-ganyan rin ang itsura sa loob ng car ko. Lahat ng nakalagay, except for the ABC book!

Happy new year mga ka-tsikot! Hope you are all enjoying your Avanzas. I am thinking of getting one and would prefer a 1.3 vvti engine but with power windows, etc. much like the 1.3e variant ng Vios. Wala bang plano ang Toyota to release a model na mas mataas ang specs sa 1.3j meaning (alloy wheels, power windows, central locks, etc.)? I would not mind paying more.

For Avanza owners, happy ba kayo sa ride, fuel consumption, reliability, safety, etc? Your comments and feedback will be extremely helpful.

    Happy year 2007 to all!

Happy New Year guys! Latest FC on my ride is a modest 8.6km/liter. A marked improvement on my previous 7km/li. Followed my wife's insistence to cut down on idling aircon usage and it worked! May ititipid pa pala siya!
Tomorrow am due for my 1000km free oil change. Will inquire if they can still make adjustments/tuning to make my FC more efficient.
Will post latest FC result for my next top up...

I have a 1.3J model.
So far am very satisfied with the ride. Mas wobbly ng kaonti sa sedan but believe us owners here its very acceptable. The engine is very responsive and the transmission is smooth. The seats are egonomic, even my kids say so, and that even the third row passengers can see the road ahead. The interior is very roomy indeed.
For me there was no familiarization peroid during the first time I drove mine. It really felt like I was driving my old car and not its replacement hehe.

Sharing an update on my FC. Mine is a 1.5G M/T. Mileage is 900km. My first full tank registered 10.6KM/L. My second full tank was 11.77 Km/L. I drove the first full tank, my wife the second.

On my 1000km checkup will probably have the brakes checked. Parang nalalaliman ako sa brakes. I get a decent braking performance only when the pedal is about 70% depressed. Di progressive yung brakes--walang effect going from say 25% depressed to 50%. Paano to kailang ipa bleed yung brake fluids? Ganun ba sa inyo?

btw last week of november ko pa nakuha unit ko hanggang ngayon wala pang plaka.

Just drove my Avanza G A/T sa mixed city (very light traffic) and highway. Around 30 kms and 100 kms respectively. So far around 1/4 tank used. Sana mag improve na FC ko.

To add, we just drove to Iloilo and man! Is the road from Capiz/Passi to Iloilo bad! I mean off-road type of roads! By the time we got to Toyota Iloilo my Avanza was color brown and not red from all the mud! The potholes were so huge and deep even the buses had to drive at a snails pace. The kids likened the ride as riding a bucking horse. Or a ship on a rough sea.
I was impressed by the stability of the Avanza. At no point did we feel that we were going to topple and roll over despite the severe lean that we had due to the deep potholes. Also the potholes were not bone jarring as one might expect even when we accidentally ran into them at around 60-70km/hr. The suspension babied the shock I guess.
Despite the apparent lack of power in the power to weight ratio of the 1.3 variant, I would still say that my ride is very capable of doing fast overtakes reaching 100+km/hr, and also climb steep ascents like my sedan carrying a much lighter weight. The engine is rev happy and with further aging/break in I believe the performance would still improve...

    Happy New Year Tsikoter's.

Up to now naka 300km pa lang sa ODO ko. di ko masyado nagagamit at medyo takot ako masita at wala pang plate # eh. I had my first full tank last saturday so far nasa 100km pa lang sa trip meter at na sa full tank na guhit pa rin sa gauge. I will make my next full tank kung makakalahati na sa gauge then compute the FC.

Mahigpit pa ba yung "No Plate, No Travel" ng PNP? Medyo matatagalan pa raw yung plaka sabi nung SA namin a baka abutin ng Feb.

P.S. : Had anybody tried using SLEX with no plate? Plano namin kasi mag-swimming sa Laguna this week-end.

My FC keeps on improving. I had my 1000km PMS halfway my third full tank. The SA told me that using fully synthetic oil will further improve the FC so I did. Now I got 10.3 km/L (previous 8.8 and 9.9).

With regards to the No Plate, No Travel, I was not yet flagged down. My usual route is Marikina to San Juan. I'm travelling almost a month with no plate. That also occurred to me last year when I have no plate for almost 2 months. Hindi naman ako nasita.

Unless the oil that you are using is branded "Energy Conserving" - using mineral or fully synthetic oil will not affect your fuel consumption.

Locally, only semi-synthetic oils from Caltex & Castrol have "Energy Conserving" properties (5W-30).

Your improving FC is due to breaking-in your car & not because of the synthetic oil.

Thanks for the info. The problem is I did not ask what oil they used. I just trusted them. Unlike when I have a car serviced at Honda, they give me the oil the excess oil not used.

If you had it serviced at a Toyota casa, most likely they will be using Mobil1 0W-40.
