Sir Chito,

Given the images above, I think napalitan naman lahat ng oil seals. As for now it is best to observe first after the engine wash. Also, I would recommend opening the timing belt cover (yung sa ibabaw lang) after a week or two para malaman kung may oil stains o wala yung timing belt area.

Lets hope for the best!

Good day!

Practicality, yes. But for safety Hindi ganun ka sure. Kung makakahanap ka ng guaranteed na sariwa as mentioned by sir theshepherd eh okay yun. Kung minsan yung mga surplus eh maayos ang panlabas (nice paint, makinis, etc.), pero we're not so sure kung ano itsura at kundisyon sa loob (maayos pa ba diaphram, no leaks, etc.). Remember that what you'll be installing is the vital and most important part of a vehicle, which of course is the brake system.

    Sir Flipo,

The last time (late year 2011) I changed my transmission and differential oil, I used the Castrol brand, I forgot the oil grade though. So far, the result is ok and everything's smooth up to now. I guess most gear oils available at the gasoline shops (Shell, Petron, Caltex, etc.) are suitable for our FX.

    Sir Greg,

Here's the dismantling steps on what I did on my GL dash:
    1. Center Aircon vent - Remove 2 screws below, upper portion is just clipped
    2. A/C control & Ashtray Frame - Remove 6 screws (3 below and 3 above)
    3. Gauge / Stereo / Clock Frame - Remove 7 screws (3 below stereo and clock, 1 at clock, 2 above gauge and 1 at the left side most of left A/C vent)
    4. Gauge Panel - 4 screws (2 above and 2 below)

After removing all the screws, you may now pull the gauge a little bit, then remove the speedometer cable and the electrical plugs at the back. Make sure that you hold on to connector latch upon pulling, not the wires. After you have dismantled all the cables, you can now see all the bulbs at the back.
