Good thing if still under warranty. I read someone who posted here na guard naman sa mall ang pinuwersang buksan yung power tailgate ng suv nya when entering sa carpark. Tapos pilit din isinara. :twak::twak:

Kaya nga sa malls pag nagchecheck na guard, i deliberately lock the doors para hindi na nya forcefully open and close an electronic tailgate... if talagang he wants to check, he will approach me sa driver side, and that's the time i will remotely open it for him. Then observe sa rearview if patapos na sya inspect and ready to close unahan ko din... he will hear the beep naman and just move away.

Hassle... yes, pero better safe than sorry. Some guards don't even bother to ask you to open na if naka lock.

the power tailgate/hatch of my friend's fortuner went kaput. it probably got damaged by a carwash boy daw.

Mine got jammed kanina lang umaga. Mag-open lang cia konti then hindi na aangat. Tried switch sa driver side ayaw din you can only hear 2 beeps. Haay ano kaya cause? Forty is 1.6 years old.

Di kaya naset lang ang height? Try opening it again, then press and hold the button sa likod for more than 7 seconds daw. Mareset sa default ang height nya.

Kasi sir kung nag-reset lang cia ng height dapat nako-close pa rin kaso hind eh stuck na cia. I'll try though the 7 seconds. Ginawa ko din long press knna pero nsa 4-5 seconds lng.

You need to send your car sa casa if it is already stuck up. They know more than you know. Besides may warranty naman forty mo bro.

You need to send your car sa casa if it is already stuck up. They know more than you know. Besides may warranty naman forty mo bro.

Done this "7 seconds" just now. Ayaw talaga nagbi-beep lng cia twice nothing happened. Holiday pa naman bukas. I'll update you na lang po once napasok ko sa casa. Thank you.

Update: Sorry guys "DUMBNESS" kicked me hard. I accidentally pressed pala ung "Power Door" switch on the front panel when I did the interior cleaning. I almost forgot this button ang tagal ko din kasi hindi nagamit in 1.5years once ko plng yata napindot.
