Hi guys, wanna ask your expert advise. First time car buyer here for wigo g a/t. Approved na ko sa bank loan and my SA quoted me, 90kdp, 10931/mo. Included na lahat. Gsto ko lng makasigurado na hndi msyadong overprice, and a good deal na din knowing na hard earned money to. Thanks in advance!

Huh. That's odd. I would understand that sort of pricing if it's 2014 and the Wigo is still fresh outta the oven. That's no longer the case now. I just saw someone post sa group that his SA offered to give him a Wigo G AT for 49K DP 10K per month.

well, the best place to find out, is the casa/salesman.
ask from several casas, sir.
ask also for discounts if cold cash... there usually is.

The reason they increase as verbalized by the agent in toyota was that new model 2016 is euro 4 na. Compare sa euro 2 sa 2015 model. But try to ask coz there are still 2015 model unit and you can buy them in cheapest price.

tumatawag yung friend ko sa mga iba't ibang dealer sa Metro Manila, if may stock ng Gray Metallic Wigo G A/T but unfortunately, wala silang stock. ang available color lang is Red, Silver, and Blue. may nagoffer nga ng TRD variant, pero nasa 623k na siya (if I'm not mistaken with the SRP). I even overheard na "stop production" yung Wigo (well, I wonder why).

luckily, nung nagpunta kami sa Toyota Cubao, may nakadisplay na Gray Metallic Wigo G A/T sa showroom. we asked an SA kung may stock pa at kung may owner na ng Wigo na nakadisplay sa showroom. sabi ng SA, may owner na at wala nang stock na Gray Metallic Wigo G A/T sa nasabing dealer. Then my friend asked me kung kokontakin na niya yung SA from the same dealer na pinarefer ng SA ng Toyota Shaw (na nagpromise sa friend ko earlier na may maibibigay sa kanya na unit but in the end wala pala) sa friend ko, and sabi ko, sige lang, hindi naman siya damay sa naging problema with the SA of Toyota Shaw. then after calling the SA from Cubao, we found out na sa kanya na pala yung unit na nakadisplay sa showroom at yung PO from the bank is nakapangalan na sa Toyota Cubao. hopefully makukuha na niya yung Wigo this weekend.

I will ask din kung may nadagdag na features ang Wigo ngayon since its launch almost 2 years ago.

I have no idea, but I will ask when I drop by the dealer. pero base sa pag-uusap ng friend ko sa mga dealer, may mga parating pang shipments na wigo na sinasabi ng mga dealer.

(or mahirap talaga magpareserve ng unit with your desired body color.)

May tanong lang po ako sa Wigo A/T. Tuwing kelan ko po gagamitin yung d4, 3 and 2? Usually kasi d4 ang gamit ko pag dito dito lang. Thank you.

D4 is recommended for normal driving. 3 is position for engine braking while 2 is position for maximum engine braking. for more info, u can check it to your owners manual.

Honestly, I'd rather wait for a new unit than take the one na nasa showroom. That means kasi na that car e nabukas-sara na ng multiple times ng kung sino-sino. Meh. That's just me tho.

Same here Ma'am Beth. My wife wanted the gray Wigo. The only one in stock was the TRD unit. When we got ours (White), di na pala available ang gray and ang explanation sa amin ng agent namin is di na "daw" magdadala ng gray dito.. At least we got a newer unit and choice ko yung color hehehe

take note: if not for the boo-boo ng SA ng Toyota Shaw, malamang naiuwi na ng friend ko yung Wigo a few weeks ago (with the desired color na gusto niya). also, nagleave pa siya noong last 2 working days ng December just to purchase the car, para wala na siyang problema pagdating ng January...yun nga lang inabot ng ilang linggo para lang magfollowup, then informing my friend na walang Wigo sa Shaw (which my friend felt disappointed and somewhat furious) bago siya mag settle na sa Toyota Cubao kung saan may available unit doon.

I suppose there is no difference, especially for someone who isn't as nitpicky about it as I am. Like I said, my personal preference. I just want a new car that did not spend even a day in the showroom

there might be a difference... somewhere, esp. if the cars do not belong to the same manufacturing batch.

meaning, at any time, the manufacturer might include something, remove something, and/or replace something with something else... slight shift in paint hue.. biglang nawala ang cigarette lighter.. biglang nagkaron ng shiney something..

Siguro naman, if yung nakadisplay na unit sa showroom is yun na lang ang stock, magiging OK naman siya, wala siyang problema sa sasakyan IMO. (unless may extra silang unit kept sa storage room ng dealership).

one time, nung nagbisita ako sa Toyota Shaw last Wednesday last week, yung Avanza E (Beige) ang nakadisplay. then nung bumalik ako noong Saturday sa same dealership, yung Avanza G (Blue?) na ang nakadisplay sa kinatatayuan ng Avanza E dati.

OH WOW. Now, THAT is interesting. Can you re-confirm? The engine on my 2014 Wigo is the non-VVTi variant, 1KR-DE. They advertised it as 1KR-FE which it isn't. If you can confirm with a picture of the engine bay indicating the actual engine model, I would appreciate it greatly.
