those thin and light aluminum-faced sheets are sound-deadening ?? they look like poorly designed echo-reducers or heat reflectors...?
i thought TRUE sound-deadening material is expensive and heavy (it has to be, for it to be truly effective). and my concern would be its effect on the vehicle. it would be like having an extra smaller passenger at all times..

    my apologies..
Yup it work. Those are not thin and light . Road noise is cut down much more if you put it in the floor board, firewall and wheel well area. The transformation of your car NVH will impress you. Also when you close the door it feels solid, like a expensive auto. The sound of your music, will feel solid and rich, even if you use the stock speakers you can determine it sound nicer, but I advise to buy an aftermarket speakers.

The silver ones are there to provide heat insulation it helps your A/C and better insulates your car.

And you are right if you decide to put on a sound deadening such as the one I install (doors and floorboards, etc) , sound AcousticPad, it does weigh about 25-35kg. That's why I put it on a SUV. But there are also lightweight sound deadening material such as dynamat, these are the ones used by overhauling, fast n loud, but they are much more expensive. You can also opt to put it on your doors only, it will still cut down the road noise.

Yes, well, that is the price for laziness, I suppose. Good for you; I myself don't have the time for it.

does it work, po? is traffic noise effectively reduced on the inside?
I only had the doors installed with the material, so the only noticeable difference is that the speakers sound better. "Mas buo ang tunog", to be exact. May slight noise reduction, pero maingay parin para sakin, so I'm planning to have the firewall, the floors and the wheel wells done next. I'm still looking for a shop that can do this for me; I'd have this done by the casa if they offer such service, but I already asked and they don't.

mahal din pala yung pagpapalagay ng sound deadening...anyway, kailangan din bang ipa-break in yung sasakyan?
No, I don't think so. Besides, if you were to ask your SA they'll say they already did the break-in. The user manual indicates that you shouldn't go over 80kph for as long as the car hasn't reached the 1000km mark. I totally forgot this, by the way, and drove the car up to 110kph along Skyway on it's first week with me hehehe

Anyway, I suggest hard break-ins. Floor it, I mean, under safe conditions and within your limits. I've heard tales of cars taking foreverrrr to get to 100kph because their owners baby-ed them.

So parang mavovoid nga yung warranty kaya kailangan ng waiver?

Try other shops, auto accessory shops, preferably one that is near you. When I had mine replaced a few months after purchase, I just assumed it WILL void warranty; same as with all the stuff I added to the car. I just thought "I'd rather loose the warranty if it means not being ignored and/or laughed at whenever I honk at texting-while-crossing pedestrians, bikers etc".

actually, i have kept my potpot horn, refusing to elevate to the noisier aftermarkets.
nakakahiya, if i have to announce my presence... nay, vent my impatience..
after all, 'tis better to drive with the wheel and the pedal, than with the horn.

True. Hahaha it's just that here, for some reason, pedestrians like walking while texting, on top of walking right smack in the middle of the road with earphones on.

More for warning than venting impatience.

Pero baka this year palitan ko parin!haha

ha? hindi mo pa sinasagot yung tanong ko kung pwede ko na siyang takbuhin ng 100-110kph during break in.

and, she has no time to join those auto club EBs (whether WigoPH or any other Wigo Club in the country)

Oh? I thought I had when I said "Anyway, I suggest hard break-ins. Floor it, I mean, under safe conditions and within your limits." in a previous post.

Yes, you can go over 100kph during break in. They call that hard break-ins. You can go over 120kph, if you want. One of our club members did 160kph, but then he's in a province with considerably less number of motorists and even less traffic enforcers.

    Hi fellow Wigo owners

Currently at 1800 KM na si Morris (si Wigo hehe). Back from our mini-vacation/Church Wedding sa Zambales.

Sa break-in? Hard break in believer here hehe, our first trip last month to Zambales, I didn't take it easy while we were in NLEX/SCTEX and some stretches past San Marcelino to Botolan, Zambales hehe.

Still no complaints... Happy with it. Just waiting on the OR/CR

Quick question: how much is the expected cost for the 1st (1,000km) PMS service? For the 2nd (5,000km)?
