Take time to read the user manual the car came with. I know na most people skip this altogether because it's boring, pero in our case, first time car owners tayo, that user manual is a treasure trove of useful information.

I'm personally quite fond of Stark's (the Wigo) user manual, because it's where I learned how to start accelerating from a full stop on an incline. Incredibly useful, since simula nung natuto kong mag-drive two years before I got him, stopping on an incline scared me to death.

Practice lang ang need. Nung start ako mag aral mag drive yan ang mga practice ko talaga. Hindi mamatayan or umatras.. Hanap kayo ng lugar na incline na kalsada na almost walang dumadaan. Kung gusto naman ninyo ng pressure. Try edsa during rush hour. Hehe.

Aralin lang ninyo auto ninyo. Panu diskarte sa ganyan. Mamaster mo din yan sir. Presure ka lang talaga pag asa likod mo dikit na dikit sa likod mo.

You got automatic tranny right? Wag ka matakot sa inclined roads. Mahirap lang ang ganyan sa manual. Familiarize mo lang ang pag drive ng wigo niyo sir, and she won't fail you. It may be just a matic, but you still need some practice para mafamiliarize mo siya idrive. Under a week of driving ok ka na niyan.

You should consider it though. Nothing beats "I have no other choice but to drive through this road" experience. A lot of new drivers are scared of EDSA, pero I think it's a great learning experience. Imagine mo nalang, pag traffic, brake at gas lang right? Sa sobrang traffic, you'll eventually get to know how far along mo dapat i-let go yung brake before the car starts moving. Same goes for manual tranny, where importante yung timpla ng gas at clutch. WAHAHAHA

Practice practice. Diyan mo sa edsa ma mamaster ang pedal control. Hehe. Yung mga pa akyat diyan na bumper to bumper ang traffic minsan. Tas manual. Wag ka sana maka atras, pag namatay engine bubusina asa likod mo, hehe, you will feel the pressure, gaya ng sa misis ko, try niya, hehe,

A/T naman wigo mo sir so chicken yan sa pag ddrive kahit pa traffic. Mine is not wigo but its M/T and nung bago pa lang ako sa driving ay lagi ako namamatayan sa bumper to bumper na traffic sa edsa kapag medyo incline yung daanan like pataas ng flyover or palabas ng ayala tunnel.

Sirs question, i was driving and hindi ko napansin na naka handbrake ako for about 2 minutes. Ano effect nun? Hindi ko kasi napansin. Kahit pala naka handbrake gagalaw parin pag nasa drive?

Wala naman major effect. Aside lang siguro sa handbrake mo na in the long run e hindi na ganun ka kapit if pa ulit ulit na mangyayri. If hindi ganu makapit handbrake mo. Yes. Tatakbo parin pero parang bitin ang takbo.

You don't have to worry about it.mejo npudpod lng nmn yung brake shoe mo. Nothing to worry about. Next time check mo lagi mga ilaw sa instrument panel. Kahit kasi nka hand brake,aabante tlaga yan. Mppansin mo nalang n parang ang bigat.

Question lang po, been reading this theread na rin for sometime, hirap lang makapag input dahil medyo struggle anf registration, hehe.


SINO PO MAY IDEA KUNG KAILAN ANG LABAS NG LATEST TOYOTA WIGO, 2016? I inquired sa dealership by phone using my app na hindi nakikita ang number ko since I hate call backs from sales people, I was told by the saleswoman na they do not have an idea daw and what they currently have is may idea daw sila na bago lumabas na matunog na matunog is the FORTUNER 2016. THEN I told her frankly that my budget is just for WIGO, then she answered na ala sya idea. Considering the pattern of the previous release, I asked her kung yung 2015 edition ng WIGO kailan nalabas, I was told na 3rd quarter daw ng 2015, so thats somewhen between July or Aug of just this year, so it should made me believe na bago bago pa nga tong 2015 WIGO edition na modelo. So yun, I ended the conversation and just left my number, I hate car salesman pitches because I think they are one of the most notorious among the breeds of salespeople.

So I researched online, and yun nga, I fould tsikot and this thread at andami ko natutunan. PAssed by a post last 2014 and sinasabi dun na around NOVEMBER of 2014, lumabas na yung 2015 EDITION ng WIGO. So sabi ko sa sarili ko, WTF, this sealed my thought about car sales people.

Anyway, to cut the story short, sensya na po, KAILAN PO ANG LABAS NG WIGO 2016? Iniisip ko po kasi baka mas okay sya, considering mas bago na edition baka mas may imporeved na features, and syemore yung resell value nya mas angat sa 2015 should I decide disposing it na. Sayang naman po, baka yang mga sales people na yan, dinidispose na lang yang mga 2015's on the same premium price to make room sa showrooms for the 2016'S. Naalala ko yung FRESH OFF THE BOAT episode. PEro yung presyo binibigay nila mahal pa rin, alam ko naman may tawad pa pero syempre, we want to make the best out of our hard earned money. Di rin biro ang P500K na investment no.
