It really varies, depending on how long the vehicle was stocked at the dealership and the type of usage the vehicle is put through.

I've had some stock batteries last just one year. Others have made it almost four years (but only on cars which are driven very regularly and see lots of long highway trips).

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

sir niky, so kapag frequent ang use mo ng sasakyan, it's like you are charging the batteries as well, kaya tumatagal ang battery life niya?

Heat is a factor in battery longevity. A vehicle that is used frequently on highway will have a longer battery life than a vehicle used mostly in city traffic. Vehicles in colder climates will also have longer battery life.

i thought that went out, along with the revving of the engine before turning it off upon arrival home.
    heh heh.

our old beetle had its battery under the rear seat, away from engine heat. it didn't last much longer than our other vehicle's battery, which was located beside the engine.

Sa experience ko mas madali buhay ng bateria na nasa initan kesa nasa malamig na lugar. Siguro dahil sa madali masira ang plates sa loob. I'm talking here of batteries in the battery room for standby & emergency power of electrical & electronic equipments.
