Suzuki Super Carry / Every / Bravo / Multicab [Merged]

UPDATE:

The suzuki carry pick-up comes in 2 engine models: 550 and 660.
The also connotates the displacement.
The 550 is 6valve (3 cylinders both) and the 660 is 12valve.
Typical mileage: 550 na 4x2 is about 10km/L and 660 is about 7-8km/L kung heavy foot ka as low as 6km/L lang.

Both have 4x2 and 4x4 types.
Both have 4 speed manual and 5 speed manual.
Both have LSD and Rear diff lock versions (pneumatic switch engage)
Both have auto hub lock and manual hub lock.
Maximum suggested tire 13 inch rim lang. Beyond that major modification is needed na to adapt the wheels plus possible na magkaproblem sa turning ang bigger wheels (14" and up). Unknown din if the differential can take the load of a bigger wheels. (They are originally on 10" rim wheels in Japan.)
It is converted RHD and no power steering.

Opinion ng importer the 4x4 would be better off with 4-speed kasi meron 4Lo gearing. Mas okay din daw ang 550 when it comes to parts availability and cost cheaper (ex. spark plugs are the same as toyota 3K or 4K engines, hard to find an plugs ng 660). Get the manual hub lock and rear diff lock na pneumatic (LSD are hard to find din)

Cost ng 4x2 is about P75K (bare and running condition) ex-cebu. P5K and shipping cost pier-to-pier. Reconditioned (painted well and running condition) add P10K. Cost ng 4x4 add another P10K

Unfortunately, the cab is a monocoque design kaya hindi pede alisin ang cab (ng hindi major ang modifications) ng basta basta.

Good evening everybody.

Ask ko lang kung may nakaka-alam kung saan ako makaka-bili ng AirCleaner(Air Filter,Elelment. waht ever its called). kasi ung Zuk ko wala air filter and nahihirapan ako maghanap, wala sa mga auto shop dito sa antipolo puro mahaba.

BTW ung Zuk ko 660cc, F6, Rear engine.

suzuki carry 4x4 F6A 12V runs for about 15km/L or more if continues driving,we have a suzuki carry more than 6 years na ang serbisyo sa amin malaking tulong madami na ring emergency cases na naexperienced. medyo old model to kasi it has a carburetor pa even in not good condition and it consumes a lot of gasoline it travels 8kms/L masama pa ung condition nun kasi i used to test it pg inadjust ko 1 liter lng talaga pinapa consume ko i siphoned it drtcly to its carburetor,4x4 pa un mas matipid pa sa gasolina ung 4x2 if in good condition ung engine aabot ka nun sa 18kms/L.tsaka nilusob k sa baha overloaded pa pumasok na ung tubig sa front seat so almost half or 3/4 na ng transmission ung tubig pati tambocho bumubula dahil lubog sa baha but ok pa rin hehehe,nag grounded lng fuel gauge nya kasi na basa ang wire=)pero ok pa din hehe

sir hindi nmn po ganyan ka gastos ang fuel consumption ng 4x2 and 4x4 na suzuki carry.
4x2 F5A 6V suzuki carry consumes if in okay condition usually po sa 15kms/L ung consumption nun at mas taas pa po ung distance travel mo n 1L if continous drving sa 4x4 nmn po F6A 12V engine is 12-15 din po if okay cndition,ung carry nga po nmin na F6A 4x4 not in good condition po medyo di pa maganda cndition ng carburetor nung pag test ko po sa 1L morethan 8kms pa ung na travel nka high idle pa po un.nung naging okay po ung cndition hndi pa na ubos 1L na gasolina 14kms na natravel.

about sa sparkplugs po d nmn po mhrap hnpin mgkasing laki lng po kasi yan sa gaya ng sa motor, Php125 na denso sparkplugs po ok na yan if u will use iradium na bosch ms magand medyo mhal nga lang po at 175.

i use 13 inch rims with 165/65 size tires. i tell you if you're the only person driving the van you can speed up to as fast as 100 kph+ in 7 secs. i'm planning to go low-profile also with 165/50 rims. if you wish to change rims i suggest you get 13's (if the supercarry is hi-roofed) or 15's (forgot the tire size) if its low-roofed (the model used in phil post (postal vans).

btw guys may mga nagmod na samin ng suzuki carry vans sa www.clubsuzukiph.tk ...its undergoing renovation though... you might take a look at our site guys =)
