Good evening mga sir.. Planning to replace our 1.8L Revo (2000 Model M/T) with Ertiga GL or GLX (tight budget, too much ang innova).. Just would like to ask the following:
1. With 7 adults (mostly around 5' to 5'8" and slim to medium built), can the engine handle climbing up sa baguio with moderate overtaking - For M/T and A/T?
2. Malayo ba yung comparison ng Wading/Fording Depth between Ertiga and Revo? Can we compare yung wading depth ng Innova (Gas) sa Ertiga?
3. Yung computer box and intake, mataas ba pwesto (pang baha question pa rin)?
4. Pareho yung revo and ertiga in terms of HP, pero lamang ang revo sa torque.. Will the 200kg lighter ertiga even yung odds pagdating sa torque and perform better in terms sa acceleration? (For M/T and A/T Ertiga)
5. Yung GLX lang ba ang Automatic among sa variants ng Ertiga?
6. 3rd Row, very uncomfortable ba for long trips?
7. GL and GLX, malaki ba ang difference sa mga features? ang alam ko lang kasi Fog Lamps, Door Lock and Rear Wiper lang ang pagkakaiba.. Meron pa ba aside dito?

1. Syempre mas malakas pa rin si Revo. Yung sakin nasubukan ko na 8-10 people (3 kids) from Masinag to Antipolo bayan. Di nga lang kasing tarik ng Baguio.

3. Mataas din naman. Pero syempre, kung abot na sa headlight ang baha, di ko isusugal..
4. Sa mt, ramdam yung hatak ng Erty pag above 2k rpm sa paahon..

6. (Pass) 😄. Di ko pa nasubukan .
7. Aside sa na-mention mo, syempre A/T.. Pero sulit na sulit na ang GL.

For number 4 - it can compensate sa acceleration. Kapag tinotopak ako nagagawa ko pa na parang tumatalon yan pag accelerate at first gear pag bigla mong tinapakan gas at the expense nga lang ng fc.
For number 6 - comfortable naman matulog mga pasahero ko hanggang sa 3rd row seats during long drives with matching hilik pa sa iba hehe

ertiga glx - 1160kgs/130nm = 8.92kgs/nm
revo 1.8 - 1360kgs (est. since 200kgs heavier kamo)/155nm = 8.77kgs/nm
so lamang pa rin ang revo. pero depende rin sa tranny kung pano delivery niya ng power. never driven a revo pero the ertiga feels very light.
5. dati may GL AT pero balita ko wala na ngayon. try to ask sa dealers.
6. sabi ng wife ko who is 5'4" ok naman daw nung nag 3 hour road trip kami pero nauuntog siya minsan sa ceiling pagnalulubak. may katabi pa siyang 2 kids nun.
7. plus steering wheel audio controls, rear tailgate door handle (sa GL de susi), driver's seat height adjuster (not sure though) and alarm. sulit nga ang GL considering the price diff pero pinili ko yung glx because of the features i can't get outside.

Basta baha ang usapan at lalampas na yan sa kalahati ng mags itatabi ko na lang muna. Laking abala pa sa dami ng ipapalinis at ipa check kaya pass ako

July 27th, 2015 09:26 AM #45893rd PMS ng Ertiga namin sa Sucat branch last Saturday, Php 4611 binayaran namin lahat, i think ni car wash pa nila at vacuum kasi naiba yung porma ng matting.
