Our Ertiga's been running for the past 6months. It's A/T and we only drive very short distance on a day-to-day basis. From where I am, it's less than 5km to everywhere with light traffic.

The best FC i got is 9.3km/l city drive and 10.4km/l highway long drive. Calculated this based on full tank method which the dash is also showing the same.

Is this the best FC I'd get or there's more? I believe I have good driving habit.

Sir roycearellano, kamusta na yung ginawa ng casa sa Ertiga mo? Back to normal na ba at pano ang nagastos? charged to warranty ba?

Naisip ko lang na pag ang problema e nahihirapang mag pump malamang magastos sa gas. may nag post kase sa ertiga club na a/t sa kanya kayang kaya ang 16km/l

my fc's averaging between 11-12 km/l, Usual route is Imus Cavite - Makati (fc based on dasboard only)
mine's GA-MT btw.

based on your posts, mukhang OK na pala fc ko.

Pareho tayo ng fc mga nsa 14 nga ata sakin pag full tank method ginamit ko saka province ako nagdrive unlike sa city. Teka sir alam ko tagal na unit mo ah? Last year pa yan? Parang nababasa ko na dito sa forum mga post mo. Ako nga pala binigyan ako ng permit to travel ng lto since ala pa din plate ko at may or/cr naman akl

Question sa mga naka-AT. Pag nagdadrive ako, naka off ung "OD off" light. Napupuna ko mas kontrolado ung rpm ko, normally 2k pero nag-iincrease sa 3k pag aarangkada na. Nung naka-on ung "OD off", ang bilis pumalo sa 3k pag arangkada. Binasa ko ung manual pero d ko magets masyado. Para saan ba ung feature na un at may risk ba kung ma-overuse/misuse? Thanks.

leave it OverDrive ON bro. overdrive OFF means youre only using gears 1-3.

Overdrive is normally the top gear, for a 4 speed AT that would be 4th gear. If you turn off overdrive, it will just shift up to 3rd gear. This is usually used for when you want to overtake, going uphill or for engine braking when going downhill.

How did they get that high FC for an AT? Baka bagong reset yung sa dash thrn run a short distance. Usually ganun nangyayari.

Anyway, car is back to normal now. So far, wala ako na encounter after the service. I brought up my concerns to Suzuki PH everything reklamo ko sa kanila including my recent paint job and delayed plate number, only then the casa made action. E cover nila sa warranty ang cost so they'll refund me then back job yung pag ayos ng dent.

Everyone from the Casa's been calling me after I emailed SPH and sent FB msg. From the Customer Service to a Supervisor, to a Service Advisor, and their manager.

Everyone's explaining all the delays and why the inconvenience. Kaya naman pala nilang e address ang mga concerns ko, hinintay pa talaga na mag reklamo ako.

I'm very keen to customer service as I am in the same industry. I hate when a service company is not proactive to address issues. And i don't hesitate to report to higher ups and stand on my ground.

Am giving them another chance and one false move, I'll transfer my PMS to nonSuzuki shop (since sole distributor sila dito sa CDO) and if they won't accept any future warranty claim bcoz I get out of the casa, I have a valid ground. These dealers should not make car owner's look dumb and ignorant specially sa mga walang alam, they should educate every car owner and help get through things. And car owner's should also know how to invoke their rights para naman wala silang ma uto,

I think yung Ertiga a/t owner e long distance driver din kagaya ko. Possible naman yung 16km/l basta iwas sa ma-trapik na daan at more on highway.

good day ertiga peeps, ive been reading this thread at nasa page 230 na ako. very impressed so far. heres the thing, we are looking for a compact car at ang first choice namin ay toyota yaris, second is honda city. pero dati ko ko pa nagustuhan itong ertiga. bonus na lang yung 7 seater si ertiga. unfortunately, wala na daw GL na matic ngayon. so kung ertiga piliin namin GLX na lang. which is a bit pricey compared to the yaris.

now medyo naiba na choice ko. ive read the yaris thread pati sa vios thread for they are siblings and share the same engine and almost 80 percent of the parts. madaming lumabas na issues such as "tok" sound sa suspension, rattling noise under the dash, stereo na hindi nag off kahit naka patay na engine, yung wiper minsan utal utal, pati sensitive engine at kumakatok sa iba sa petron xcs, etc. but the my main concern is the fc of the yaris/vios. ang average nya sa city driving (1.3 a/t ) is nasa 8km/L lang for a small car and a small engine. medyo dun ako talaga naturn-off. while the honda city can do 10km/L sa city pero way better sa highway na may umabot pa ng 20km/L .

now after reading 2/3 of this thread, natuwa ako na sabihin na first choice ko na ang ertiga sa ngayon. it has the looks and the carrying capacity. so far, mukhang wala naman ata major issues sa engine nya or transmission.

sorry for the long reply, pero can you guys help me out kasi gusto ko magsurvey lalo na sa mga matic owners, ok na ok din sumagot mga manual owners kung ano fuel consumption average ng ertigas nyo. im planning to use this as a city driver 80% of the time. mga 70 percent dalawa lang sakay. is it practical na rin in terms of fc? gusto ko kasi pagaralan kung better choice ang ertiga kesa sa honda city. inalis ko na yung yaris sa choices ko.

Ay yay yay... Sakit sa ulo ang mga nagbebenta na yan.. Unit ko nakuha ko last march 27, they let me sign the memorandum ng lto stating na naintindihan ko un explanation ng SA, the manager made me believe na march 30 pede daw aplyan ng registration,if they didnt give the assurance, diko na sana pina ayos yun isang sasakyan.tuloy wala aku magagamit after ng 7 days na mag lapse...wala daw sla magawa etc etc etc... Yun pla by batch pala ang pag submit ng papeles sa lto!

Ang FC ni ertiga ay depende sa madaming conditions. BEST for FC ay ang iyong light foot. Kahit anong kotse gaganda FC dyan.

lakas ng aircon, terrain, road conditions, at traffic, etc. affects your FC.

then driving style. if gagayahin mo yung ginagawa ko, coasting pag nakitang red light ng yung susunod na kanto, slow acceleration from stop, engine break lang if matarik na pababa yung dadaanan, tataas fc mo.

The reverse is true, no matter how frugal the engine is, if panget driving habits mo mababa fc mo.

Ngayon, FC vs vios eh.... hindi ko pa masasabi yan. although my friend has a vios 1.5 yun. Also, wala pa ako sa 1000kms ko so.... there.

Yung mga feedback from other ertiga owners, sabi nila kayang kaya ni ertiga maka 12km/l city driving.

thanks for your reply sir. i agree with everything you said. malaking factor talaga ang driving habits. btw, i was talking sbout the thread for the gen3 vios/yaris. medyo hindi ako talaga naimpress sa mga fc nila sa city driving. if one can save upto 50 pesos for short trips for gas, malaking tulong na yun kung araw araw gagamitin. kaya kung si ertiga kaya mag 11-12km/L city driving kahit matic, napakalaking plus factor na yun. convince me more ertiga owners. lols.

Naw i told the sa,at yun customer service manager na si marie at yun si ian( sales manager) that on monday i should be getting updates from them, dapat i submit na nila sa LTo yun application of COR..Bakit kasi nag iipon pa sila ng nabebenta bago i submit ang application? .
