I am a bit confused. In the Suzuki Fuel Consumption thread, people are referring their Celerios as 2016. Is not the latest one 2015?

From Niky:
That's always been a problem with automatics on small engines. Too much driveline drag caused by the heavy torque converter and transmission fluid, and the lack of power just makes people press harder on the pedal, resulting in even worse economy. CVTs are perfect for small cars, and the lower power and weight help keep them alive longer than in bigger cars, as well.

InterestingI did'nt know that.

Sana, sumigla uli ang grupo celerio. I am seeing a lot of BN units on the road. I guess, sulit ang investment sa car na ito. It is almost fully loaded with options right from the dealership at a lower cost. The fuel sconomy is really good, handling is adequate, and it doesn't really look bad compared to Wigo or Mirage, some say it is even better actually.
We have Mirage, Wigo, and Celerio as daily commuter. FC is best with Celerio, Mirage got more speed and power, something you will appreciate in highway driving, and for Wigo, many are just foolishly in love with it.
As for parts, It has been easier for us with Wigo and Mirage, and their forum is more alive.
celerio owners are living their happy lives. low fuel costs and no motor issues. why bother in forums😅

What I mean is that this is a Toyota country, to a lot of folks here their religion is Toyota no matter what when it comes to vehicle. When I was planning to buy Celerio, my friends were not for it, and told me to buy the new Wigo instead. Toyota here is a myth and arguing about that is just a tiring thing.
I am happy with my Celerio but issues may arise which we may need help from other owners of this car, a more vibrant Celerio forum then will be a big help.
Anyway, my online search points to Vic C-932 oil filter as a replacement oil filter for Celerio ( engine model K10B). The recommended oil is 0W-20 API SN. To where I bought my unit, they are using Zic 5W-20. OC interval according to OM is every 15Tkm or every 12 mos or half these values for severe driving condition.
Celerio owners in India do not advice using OW-20 oil in Ist gen Celerio, it is not ready for that.
