If the Suzuki's hybrid system was the same to the Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive (non mild hybrid system), it also performs like a turbocharged small displacement full ICE engine.

I Forgot about that. Suzuki also rebadges the Grand Vitara as the Urban Cruiser.

eto na. hope they bring in the awd version. for sure cheaper than crosstrek and you won't have to deal w/ the subaru's idiosyncrasies

but that 1160kg curb weight is a lot for this mild hybrid 1.5

Sayang they're not bringing in the full hybrid. Didn't want to go against Toyota given that they got the hybrid tech from Toyota.

So it's basically the size of the Corolla Cross but about 200kg lighter? If the FWD version will be priced under 1.3M it will be a hit. They can always add the AWD variant later on.
