I have been using N2 for almost 2 years now, courtesy of Minerva Tyres when I changed the tyres of our Starex to Michelin Vanpix. I must say that there is no performance advantage as far as my limited driving experience is concerned....

Whew! This is the first time I've gotten eye strain from reading about something since researching about engine oils.
I'm skeptical about Nitro as well.
Maybe we should email the MYTHBUSTERS. Hehe

exactly liv, nitrogen inflation are used to aviation.... but for cars we're not running on the road above 300kph.. unless you do it in constant time... so no reason that you will blow your tire cause by high pressure while running.

July 12th, 2009 09:57 AM #240That's a Myth and it goes against Laws of Physics.
All gases increase in volume, and thereby increase in pressure, as they get heated up when the tire is in motion.
The reason why they use Nitrogen in aviation is because pure Nitrogen expands at a measured rate. Not necessary in low stress enviroment like everyday driving.
Having problems posting images as well.
