stock rims ba na 13's? Kung yun nga, try mo Bridgestone Turanza ER60 (185/70 13). Mas prefer ko 'tong size mas malapad kesa sa stock na 165/70.Bought a year 1/2 ago for P1.5k/each (2 fronts muna), then after a few few months, bili ule ako for rear, kaso inabutan ako ng price increase na P1,750/tire ko na nakuha. Now, nagtanong ako sa booth ng BS etong recent na Manila Auto Show, nasa range na P2k/tire na raw, mostly made in Thailand & Indonesia. So price range nya for most tire supply shops, nasa P1.9k to * P2.1k (ata, not sure!)
Eto observation ko:
-Comfortable (soft compound)
-Less road noise
-Grip and Traction are fairly outstanding (lalo na for a mini-van).![]()

i'm planning to change my stock tires to 215/45R17. which would you recommend bridgestone potenza III or dunlop lemans 702? why?
I'll go for Bridgestone Potenza G3. I bought last week and looks ok and quiet.
Mas durable daw. I've been using BS tires for more than 10 years. Wala pa naman ako ne-experience na problem. Siguro ingat lang sa mga lubak...![]()

question po, ano po ba ang tamang tire size para sa lite ace? yung malapad po ba like 185/70/R13 or yung medyo makitid lang like 165/80/R13? e ang tire pressure po ng mga tire sizes na yan, ano po ang tama? meron po bang tires with that size na mura at maganda ang quality na nasa range ng 1.2K~1.5K per piece?
sana po matulungan nyo ako.
salamat.
i think i'll go for bridgestone potenza narin siguro. marami rami narin ako nabasa na magandang review nito. anong size yung nabili mo, sir at saan mo nabili? i'm planning to change my rims and tires next month.
nga pala another question, if magpapalit from stock tires (altis) to 215/45R17 do i need to have a camber and alignment check pa? mga 1 month old palang po yung car.
I'm currently running Hankook Ventus Sport K104's (245/40/20) on my Outlander, I bought them after reading good reviews at Tirerack.com, low road noise reliability and very good wet/dry traction.
On my w201 I have Indonesian made Tornado Alphas (215/40/R17), they're really good tires if you can find it there in the Phils.

Mahirap sagutin yun... mahal na rin ang tires sa size na yun. If you want truck-like longevity, you can go for Goodyear Wrangler Sports, but they're expensive. I got 165 or 175 Michelin XM1s for my pickup at 2.5k each. Relatively expensive for car tires, but they're very very quiet. Not so good under braking, but they're meant to be fuel conserving tires, so you should drive them gently.
Pressure is whatever it says on the door sticker. But you should use 30-35 psi with modern tires, and a bit more if you're driving with a full-load of passengers.
You shouldn't need to. Lowering springs may change your camber (but the Altis' rear beam design should prevent excessive camber), tires won't.
Potenza Grid III's are nice tires. Very grippy yet relatively quiet.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
