The other day bumili ako nung Goodyear Excellence 195/64r15 nasa 3.3xx each. Made in China lang nga, pero ok naman cguro yun since may 4 year warranty naman.

Thanks! That's a very informative link. Stock tire is yokohama geolandar. Someone told me it's not safe to travel on that speed with the stock tire. Hindi ko kasi alam specs.. I will check it tom. Baka pwede naman. Hehe.

turns out i don't need to change the tires na pala. V siya so kaya pa upto 240kph yung speed. traction is B so hindi pwede patakbo ng mabilis on wet roads.

on the comfort side, wala naman ata guage kung papaaano malaman ang comfy na tire? baka sa tire pressure nalang.. i don't know...

anyway, thanks for the link. saved me from gastos. for now... hehehe

For someone who is on a tight budget, what brand can you recommend for a 205/65/R15 tire???

Mahal na ba yung 3K for that size? O median lang yan?

    TIA

Let's wait for the more experienced owners.

I recently replaced our Innova's tires with that size, I used Nankang. Cost was around P. 3,200 per tire. This is my 2nd set of Nankang on the Innova.

I find Nankang's to be a good value tires, decent performance for the price. I have tried in my previous pick-up their all-terrains and it was grippier and quiter than the Bridgestone. I am also currently using Nankang on my current pick-up, am using 265/60 R18. So far so good, grip is really good.

Good for you. Comfy kasi is subjective and more on the car rather than the tire basta proper pressure lang palagi ha.

Happy Holy Week mge fellow tsikoteers! My current tires kasi are 165/65 r14. Thanks in advance for all your help with this!

Also, anyone has tried buying tires ffrom s&r? How's their service? Medyo attractive din kasi yung lifetime service nila for tires bought from them. So lahat ng vulcanizing for the tires are free.

That should fit. S&R prices arent the cheapest out there but its still reasonable, especially if you forsee that youre going to avail of the vulcanizing services and its convenient for you.

Sang-ayon sa tire calculator, going with the 175/65 you'll be off by 2.23%, which is still within the 3% max na recommended. If you want to maintain speedometer/odometer accuracy, try looking kung meron 175/60 at which you're just off by 0.8%. Not sure how widely available 185/55/R14, but eto around 2% off ka lang din.

Cars are usually calibrated to run slower than actual speed so by all means, his speedo may be more accurate with the larger tires. On my Corolla Altis, i'm using 205/60R15 as against the stock 195/60R15 and per the GPS readout, my speedo is just about dead-even.

Been there two weeks ago, nagpalit ako ng tires sa kanila (dunlop LM703), okei ang service, hindi bara-bara, may nakasabay nga ako pumunta dun para magpa-tire rotation lang, basta nasayo reciept, seservican nila, pati yung pag wheel balance nila, okei din. Definitely babalik ako dun pag magpapalit ako ulit gulong, medyo pricey nga lang ATA sila ng konti pag kinompare mo sa labas.
