Mga sir newbie po ako dito sa forum and I would like to seek some suggestion/advice, magpapalit na kasi ako ng tires para sa Isuzu Fuego namin.

Got a quote from Servitek and Minerva, size and prices below:

    235/70/15
    Michelin LTX = 5.2k
GY Wrangler HP AW = 5.2k
    Bridgestone 683HT = 5.9k

Meron din Yokohama and Dunlop. Not sure kung anong brand ang subok na since coming from stock pa yung papalitan na tires namin. Di na-quote sa akin yung Yoko Geolandar sa Minerva yun sana type ko. Ano po kaya ang subok na sa tatlo sa taas? Thanks!

i used a-drive on my lancer itlog dati was able to run 170kph with 2 passenger... no issues.. low rolling resistance, good grips in my baguio trips.

was able to use aspec in my innova for 13months... can handle high speed 160kph with 5 passengers including me with lots of bags and pasalubong to and from baguio.. low rolling resistance din.

mga sir, will be buying new set of rubbers this coming week, after reading threads regarding tires, seems that "philippine made" are more chosen than made from china, taiwan etc.. at first im really solved for nankangs ns2, but now im looking at yoko's a drives..
can you enlighten me somehow regarding this topic? ph vs others
    thanks

I think all of us are interested in this discussion but from my understanding and opinion, its not really where it is made but the brand itself. Locally made tires are mostly if not all branded tires (Yokohama, Goodyear, Dunlop?) which probably has more r&d budget and will probably have better quality control.

Chinese and Taiwan manufactured tires are from smaller and lesser known companies than the tire giants and will probably have not as much r&d done on each model released and will probably have quality control systems that are less strict than the bigger companies.

guys, have you tried the brand "Deestone" made in Thailand? Ok naman ba? sabi kasi ng isang friend ko na nakagamit na non e, parang mas matibay pa daw yata kaysa goodyear. And yon Deestone ngayon ang mabenta dito sa province namin kasi mura and subok na daw nila na matibay.

mga sir good day po, i just bought Falken Tires for my glx lancer and the tire shop told me it was relaunch in the market? by the way they sell it for Php 2,600 each.. kaya yun na kinuha ko instead of goodyear. anu po ba performance nito? is it true na for a while eh nawala falken tires sa market?

the best brand of tire depends on your max budget and preference. with my measly budget, i settled for neuton n5000 for my 17s. pretty impressed with it as it is the same price range with nankang NS2
