    Hello,

Does anyone have information on when the following changed happened to the locally released Foresters?

    1. When did the signal lights move from the body to the side mirrors?

    2. When did the moon/sunroof vanish in the base model?

    3. When did the muffler become single from the previous 2 (in the base model)?

    Thanks!

No answer to answer question #1 but see below for #2 and #3.

The current Forester platform (SJ) was released around 2014 but went thru some minor modifications in late 2016. The sunroof and 18" rims were only offered on the 2.0i-P Premium and XT models. The dual muffler exhaust is only available on the XT model. The 2.0i-L base model came with 17" rims and fabric seats but uses the same engine as the 2.0i-P Premium model. Only the XT model has the 2.0L turbo engine.

May nabasa ako sa mazda thread na yun cx7 nagkakaroon ng melted tail lights.

May nakita kasi ako na 2011 Forester na may parang crack yun loob na red ng rear brake light nya pero buo naman yun cover so parang sa loob yun crack. Case of brittle plastics over time lang ba yun or natunaw dahil hindi LED yun bulb? Or nabasag yun loob dahil sa malakas na pagsara ng rear door hehe.

Yes, sir; not affected by the recall

But to me, it's a potential chink in the armor:

The inspection certificate is a requirement for cars sold locally
As I understand it, the flip side is that there's no certain "inspection certificate" requirement for exported units. If the "scandal" is true, then...

I saw some merchandise (vehicle-related and daily-use stuff like mugs, etc.) in their waiting lounge. I haven't seen touch-up paint pens, though. Wouldn't hurt to call

Call Mr. Do It Colorlab Alabang +63-02-772-3223
They compu-mix OE paint codes w/ Roberlo Paints from Spain & can em in rattlecans. I always keep 1 for each car. I'd spray onto a pc. of plastic & use Q-tips or a dried fine tipped Sharpie to touch up.
