good morning!
recently the break pedal of my 2017 fxt is hard to depress upon starting the engine but once the engine is running it loosens, no problem with its operation, what is wrong with it?
thank you for any help

Brake boosters need engine running ... just like power steering ... it's normal ...

I would gladly volunteer to drive your Fozzie XT everyday for you Master Dream, from NLEX to TPLEX to SCTEX then back to NLEX to Manila.

Just for maintenance purposes of course, no over-speeding involved.

Speaking of, I wonder if one day we can organize a Tsikot Fun Run, just down to Subic for a nice stretch of the engines' 'legs' and some good seafood by the bay side.

If you see a speeding steel-gray Mazda6 turbo diesel along SCTEX going towards Subic, most likely it's Archer as that's his usual route. If you have the nerve to go toe-to-toe at 200kmh, Archer would love the challenge. Hehehehe

Ako, araw-araw Italian tune-up basta maluwag yung SLEX. Just like earlier today, I was running late so I gave it a go from Sucat to Nichols doing 150kmh in some streches.

thank you sir for the info, i haven't experienced this with my fxt before, smooth lng sya and i can depress it all the way prior to starting the engine, just like with our other non subie cars, nangyari lang po when i didn't use the car for almost 15 days, and up to now matigas sya before starting the engine , kahit na i use the car now everyday

Brake boosters have a reserve enough for 1 or 2 pumps in case of emergencies ... When you're engine dies while driving at speed and you can't depress your brake pedal, add more pressure and it will stop the car ... This is all in your owner's manual ...
