January 4th, 2016 09:32 AM #1661First Subaru Forester owner, mine is 2015 i-P
Very satisfied! i don't need the turbo trim, and i dont have the money for that.
i love the way it handles the curves, and it is very stable in high speed. i'm doing
140kph in TPLEx pero feel ko nasa 100k pa lang. Very good passing power. mauuna ka sa express ways.
Great acceleration. at not common sa lansangan...

January 6th, 2016 10:29 AM #1662Got a Subaru forester xt last sept 2015 in Subaru Alabang with in house compre insurance. Had an accident last nov 12 2015 requiring replacement of right rear door and the qtr window at the back.
Got the loa to proceed only last week dec considering its an inhouse insurance. Up to now subaru alabang has not proceeded with the repair, waiting for advise of the parts required. Almost 2 mos now since my claim from their inhouse insurance under od. Have not used the car since the accident.
Any of you here have similar experience with your subaru accident claims?
TIA

My experience with subaru bgc, di nila ino order parts unless may loa. So may dalawang waiting time, loa and parts. Outside insurance ko and they told me kung in house mas madali. Ginawa ko sabi ko ako na mag bayad at dumating naman kaagad parts in more or less 15 days iirc. Aside sa delay ng insurance mo BAKA lang contributing factor din na hindi motorimage yang dealer sa alabang at extra step to go thru motorimage to acquire parts

January 7th, 2016 12:05 PM #1664Thanks Flip.
That was also my thought na di motor image ang Subaru alabang. Just got to talk with them. Parts will be arriving Early feb. Hopefully i can have my car repaired end Feb. 4 mos total .
Lesson of the day If you buy a Subaru never get into a situation that you have a part replaced. They dont have them in stock and will take at least 45 days to get them.
I was also informed that even the headlight took them 2 mos to replace.

with so much subarus (forester, to clarify) on the road, i would have expected them to have more parts availability.
i guess they are still not mainstream enough and are unwilling to stock up on parts.
i read somewhere on this forum that the 40,000 kms for a subaru costs more than 40k? is that correct? is this really true?
i called up their sales to ask and the sales people told me that normal 40,000 kms pms is about 10k unless they have to replace certain parts.
