who's that pretty girl in the XV TV commercial, the one eating ramen?
Saw a white XV, head turner nga siya. Parang mas edgy na cx7 ang tindig.

Yup, that's her... Parang Pinay but most probably she's not.
Don't they at MI know her?
Hello XV owners,
Whats your feedback on the CVT? Any other issues you've experienced? Also have the base unit owners done any mods like adding a reverse camera like on the premium? I like this a lot but the cargo space is really just too limited.
No issues with my 1 month old standard XV yet. Changed the headunit to a Flyaudio system, plus a Camry-compatible reverse camera. Only issue with the Flyaudio HU is that the ipod cable is defective (still waiting for the replacement) and that the TV mode is not functioning (I think it needs another module for that).
Pano ko ba malalaman na bagong model na ang XV (with the leather seats) and not just converted to leather seats? Sa conduction sticker ba?
TIA!
You may try to inspect the dates on the seatbelt label. Also check underneath the trunk floor cover for date stamping. Three months or less back from today is about right.
Sales of these "2013 XV" will start this April. I believe M.I. Pilipinas will delete the moonroof feature for all variants. Both variants will retain their prices while the "2.0i premium" gains leather upholstery.
PS: Better get the "old" 2012 models with the moonroof if there are still some left.

Would prefer without moonroof. Lesser maintenance in the long run. A moonroof is not suited for our conditions here.
It will be hard for M.I. to maintain (2.0i premium) or reduce (2.0i standard) the price while maintaining the exact specs or even adding leather upholstery (2.0i premium). Something has to go.
No mention of the removal of the sunroof though, which was a surprise when I read it in this forum. So they are basically going to start using the body of the base variant for both since the sunroof if getting axed... I dont believe I see a lot of the base variant around, in fact I dont think i've seen one on the road. They could have added the push start to the premium in place of the sunroof or just to freshen up the line since the new forester is out.
Motor Image PH finally shares official prices of all-new Forester - News | TopGear.com.ph
"Also announced is the price adjustment for the XV, whose base variant is now at P1,298,000. The premium variant is still at P1,478,000 but now comes with leather seats."
http://www.philstar.com/motoring/201...-xv-loose-baliOn top of MIPs’s shock announcement, they also revealed the 2013 XV on sale starting April which loses the moonroof but will have a lower SRP of P1.298M (equating to a price drop of P100,000). The moonroof-equipped 2.0i will remain while supplies last. Meanwhile, the XV 2.0 i-Premium retains its P1.478M price tag but will gain leather seats.
The article is not very clear but it CAN be interpreted as 2.0i loses the moonrooof to help reduce its price by 100K.
While 2.0i premium (assuming it keeps all the same features from 2012) will retain its price while gaining leather upholstery.
Open to interpretation.
Visited MI kanina, I believe xv premium still has the sunroof/moonroof, leather seats lang nabago.
I saw one kanina for release, while checking out the xv and the new forester.
