    wow congrats!!! dang you got a good deal lugi ata ako 10t =( how you got 40t kinulit ko pa akin 30t lang talaga.. ayaw na mag lower pa dun..

    Sabi ko kasi offer sa akin sa iba is 50k and told the SA if she can match sabi pa approve daw nya. Pag balik sabi 40k lang daw na approve so go na ako dun, lol!

    Na break-in na kaagad si XV! Travelled from Marikina to Pangasinan early this morning. Speed during the travel is varying from 80 to 110 kph. Total distance travelled is 243km and FC reading is 7.8l/100km base sa display ng MID. That's 85 percent highway driving. First impression, medyo matagtag ng konti. Checked the tire pressure at Marqueemall when we stop for lunch and the tire pressure for all tires is 36psi! Had the air replaced with Nitrogen and front tire pressure 32 psi while at the rear it's 31psi and...voila! Nabawasan Ang tagtag! Medyo dinig ng konti ang road noise but not that much to irritate me. Feel ko lang masyado sensitive ang accelerator pedal coz kaunting tapak lang humaharurot na. I think it needs getting used to dahil delikado ito pag bumper to bumper ang traffic then pag nag move at medyo napadiin tapak sa accelerator baka mabangga nasa unahan. But the CVT is great sa long stretch, wala siyang shift lag. Medyo nasa lighter side ang manibela but it's ok. Overall, I think this is a great car!

    Any member here from Subaru Society? Baka pwede pa add sa FB?

    Meron na kaya nkapag pa install ng 3rd party car alarm sa mga XV or Forester owners? I have a Viper car alarm model 5904V ang problema ko hindi ko alam kung saan shop ipa install? Meron ba kayo ma recommend na shop who knows how to install Viper car alarm? TIA

    Just to update everyone, my 3 month old XV has 5k already on the odometer. I usually do 15k Kms/yr. Averaging 8.9km/l using gas cubby. Mix of crawling makati mandaluyong traffic and nlex runs.

    Cvt is smooth and effortless running at nlex 120kph at 2k RPM. During these runs, on board computer registering at 8l/100km.

    Sarap overtake at 4-5k rpm. Engine roar is sweet.

    My first 2.0l car just to give proper perspective.

    Mga bossing... need your help... I'm planning to get an XV.. pero parang alanganin ako kasi baka may lalabas na new model this year... I really love the car... any advise?....

    This XV was launched in March 2012 on our shores. Expect a slight facelift by this fall in US or Japan markets. Philippines will probably receive these units by early 2015.

    Hi guyz,

    Am stuck between a XV and a CX5..

    How's the issue of the CVT being noisy ? Read some reviews sa US and Aus about this kasi..tnx

    Testdrove the XV and forester kanina, medyo maingay nga ..not the CVT but the boxer engine's purr of power...

    Sarap sa cornering and braking....though the wifey prefers the forester...hmmmm. Esep esep

    Got my XV last Saturday, and is back with Motor Image today Same problem with the fuel gauge not updating properly despite following the workarounds posted on several forums. According to Subaru the main float and top float sensors are faulty and needs to be replaced.

    I'd suggest new buyers check their gauge too since it seems to be an issue with the XV.
