What was Bo thinking? He should've left it up to Coach Sandy who's more than capable of handling things.

Malabo yata ito, 'coz if you saw the pics you'll see ato was asking bo to leave the playing court. While some say it was ricky palou who gave the permission.

    eto yung article from spin.ph

ATENEO coach Bo Perasol was indeed at Sunday’s UAAP game against University of the East, but his presence had the blessing of school and league officials.

This was the contention of an Ateneo official who spoke on the condition of anonymity as he confirmed that Perasol went to the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday after getting clearance from top school officials as well as one ranking member of the Commissioner's Office.

According to the source, Perasol, who was banned from the game after a run-in with a La Salle fan, got the go-signal from Ateneo’s representative to the UAAP board Ricky Palou and team manager Paolo Trillo, among others, prompting him to watch the game from Ateneo's dugout.

“Hindi naman siya pupunta doon kung hindi muna siya nagtanong sa mga officials,” said the unimpeachable source.

His presence at the MOA Arena has prompted UE to seek an investigation from the UAAP board, claiming it is in clear violation of league rules which prohibit banned coaches and players from attending matches.

If proven, the case raises the specter of a forfeiture of the Blue Eagles' 77-72 win over the Red Warriors on Sunday which could revive UE's hopes of reaching the Final Four.

[For full story, see Ateneo faces forfeiture of UE win after banned Perasol allegedly seen at game]

The source said that Perasol was at first hesitant to watch his team at the venue but had sought clarification since he had seen several suspended players watch games in the past, mostly from behind their team's bench.

Record breaker ata si UE... most protests (ehem... clarifications) filed in one season. Ampch... 3 players naman ba ang masuspend ng sunod-sunod.

So ka-level mo na si Madam Miriam?

Crucial game again today... ADMU vs. NU. I expect Parks to go on mamaw mode as they lost to DLSU last weekend and they need to solidify their hold on the twice to beat advantage. Ateneo, on the other hand, is fighting for survival and there's the distraction of the UE protest. OBF!

win or lose, it's the school we choose!

Quite disappointed with the attitude of ADMU, instead of manning up and admitting its mistake it wants to divert the attention to other schools.

Battle cry of ADMU is: If I'm going down then you're going down with me.

    Parang bata lang.

Agree with you on this. If indeed may basbas sa itaas, the ADMU officials who gave him the go signal to be at the venue should have made a clean breast of it, and then just let it ride. If they got off with a warning, well and good. If they got the game forfeited, so be it.

I'm not a fan of basketball games being decided off the court -- I mean play your heart out on the court and leave it there, and then go home unbowed, whether you won or not -- but an infraction's been made, and one that's too obvious, kaya it's hard to let pass.

Having said that, good luck to ADMU later.

Yup,- Although NU is leading most of the times, ADMU is within striking distance... (52-49)

    Looks like a nerve-wrecking endgame....
