Jordan led the bulls and created a dynasty without a dominant center (ala Bill Russell, Kareem, or the present Tim Duncan). Rodman is not even comparable, and com'on who still remmbers Luc Longley? Only Jordan alone can achieve such feat. I don't think even a Lebron can come close to that. Sa tagal-tagal ng pagoobserve ko sa NBA, the team who has a strong, dominant center almost always enjoys the upper hand. But Chicago turned that theory upside down. Had that stupid Chicago owner retained the bulls, I believe, that they're still good for one or two more rings.
In terms of aerial acrobatics, yes, I'll probably agree that Kobe is quicker, definitely stronger and more creative in his shots, but in terms of basketball IQ, zero, zilch, nada! compared to MJ.
I like Kobe for the excitement he brings into the game, plus his off-court antics which gives us more reasons to be interested in him, but the rings he has in his drawer is probably 75% thanks to Big Daddy Shaq.
At the end of the day, wala sa paramihan ng singsing 'yan, dahil kung 'yun ang gauge, magkasing galing lang si Horry at si Jordan.... he he he
