offense is their best defense...
they will out run and out gun you...
pinakita talaga ni nash why he is the mvp..
napuyat ako kagabi sa replay... hehehe...
Hala....8 pt lead na lang. Let's see whose prediction gets blasted again.
Rip should be shackled...tindi 22 pts na.
A big 3 by SHEED, who else. Pistons up 10, under 3 minutes.
Check the different faces of Sheed at ESPN.com
Galing...galing naman for all SHEED fans.
Prediction ko series tied 1-1......daya no? Late na magbigay ng prediction.
Go Heat Go in game 3!
argh! sayang, naibaba pa nila to 6pts yun lead. kala ko aabot ang heat.
C'mon guys, fanfare aside and take a look at the game (watch it, not box scores or radio) and the East finals are just a bore to watch.
2 teams not playing their best (Piston's floor leader sucked this playoff year - Billups), if not because of Tayshaun, they'll be in deeper trouble coz Rip isn't shooting well as well.
Miami... All this talk about how Shaq is turning it up during the playoffs... See the stats, dominating is like what Dirk, Brand and Timmy did during their run, CONSISTENT points and rebounding averages that pops out from the statsheet.
Shaq can't even dominate the Nets and the Bulls consistently. Don't tell me it's not hard to take the other 3 big guys I mentioned out of the game from foul trouble, with the exception of Dirk, Brand and Timmy gets their share of blocks and inside presence as well.
Fanfare is clouding your otherwise objective vision, my friends.
The turnovers and defense (or the lack of it) is just horrendous to watch for the Heat. It's not like they're losing the ball from transition passes either.
Like what most people are saying, if Miami wants to win, it has to come from the role players since it is expected that Shaq and Wade (yes, this is HIS team) to do their part nightly... TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE SO-CALLED ROLE PLAYERS..
Payton, JWill, Walker, Haslem, Zo, Anderson and Posey??? These guys having good scoring games are an exception and not the norm. They're no Prince, Rasheed, not even a Gooden in terms of scoring and rebounding consistency.
Walker will get his points if he jacks up gazillions of useless shots in the process (usually long range, resulting to long rebounds), he's been doing that for half a decade in Boston, you expect him to be more efficient?
None of these guys can defend either... Payton of 06 isn't The Glove anymore, people need to realize that and not put too much hope on that.
Scoring under 90 points yet shooting below 43% isn't even a tribute to the Piston's defense, the shots are just bad shots... 6/22 3pt shooting? 22 threes???
Both teams are having really bad shooting these days and the fact that it's a "blessed" night if 2 to 3 Miami role players can score double figures while Pistons do it consistently stacks the series against the Heat greatly.
I still can't believe how little respect people have with regards to the West...
Despite the weak conference, only a few cracked above the .550 mark.

Regarding Chauncey...
First Round 46% shooting, 22PPG
Second Round 37% shooting, 14.9PPG
Third Round 31% shooting, 16PPG
The threes are all below 36% shooting.
If there's one person who's "turning it on", it's Tayshaun... He's like a less powerful Marion right now.
Shaq isn't turning it on, his stats, other than his TO and blocks are below his regular season average.

Don't even forget that I'm a Shaq fan since his Orlando days...
...comparing this (Suns-Mavs) series with the East is like comparing a season of 24 to the daily highlights on C-Span.

muntik na kanina matalo ang pistons hehehe. Mga calls ng refs hindi talga ok especially ang block ni rasheed at ang time out ni prince.
cant wait to have my NASH's jersey! :D
Remember the NBA has the BEST referees in the world, they review calls, they reverse the call when its questionable. Everybody says they got the short end of the stick, specially the fans, in the end IT ALL EVENS OUT.. because both teams will get their fair share of calls. Don't get me wrong NBA refs make mistakes, case in point when Bernie Frye's waved off Baron Davis' buzzer beating jumper which led to the "review rule" during end of quarters.
Am a Shaq fan - circa 1992-2002, enter the 2002-2003 season he came in overweight, out of shape, and delayed surgery which caused him to miss some 15 games. He came back played himself into shape, unfortunately they lost to the Spurs in the 2nd round. From that point on his game went down as the injuries piled up.
Regarding the refs, just remember, you're watching it on TV with replays and closeups hehe.
