Kudos to the Suns. Even without a true center they still find a way to win. The game has really changed. I have a feeling that this series will go 7.... again.

Grabe si Dirk talaga hehe... But you really can't beat the Suns if they're shooting well, probably only Dallas can run with them for the whole game...

If Mia-Det series grinds to a Game 7 na puros inside and screen-roll game, they'll be very, very worn out pag dating sa finals while the West just need leg rest hehe.

yung laro ng Suns, parang Dallas circa mid-80s, run and gun, take the first shot available, scoring in the 100-120s regularly... they don't worry about the coach screeming at them when they miss.

Coz their coach never does... :D

And it's not like the old Dallas na "first shot available", now it's First Wide Open Shot Available Created By MVP Nash.

    Big Diff hehe

hehe, well plays are different but the results are the same. Same system, wala din star big man ang Dallas during those days. First to a 100pts wins hehe.

If you watched the "Training Camp" coach D'Antonni told Raja "Your taking 600 3pt attemps this season, make 300" :bwahaha: sino ba naman di gaganahan maglaro kung ganyan ang coach.

3s work hehe, even if you trade baskets, you'll still be +1

A year ago, the Spurs and Pistons seemed to be coming together for a sort of combo dynasty in which they would swap several more titles. Was it all an illusion? Are they done?

Broussard: It was no illusion at the time, but the emergence of other characters in the league changed it. Who foresaw LeBron coming of age so quickly, and who foresaw Avery Johnson impacting Dallas so much? The Pistons and Spurs are not done. Both, especially the Spurs, will be legit contenders for a few more years to come.

Bucher: I never thought that rivalry would last a few more years. Both teams need to re-load. The Pistons have been riding the same horses for too long and the Spurs have been relying on older pieces -- Robert Horry, in particular -- to play vital roles. The clock has struck midnight. Both still have some valuable pieces and should be contenders, but they certainly haven't cornered the market.

Jackson: No, I think we (media) were delusional for thinking that other teams weren't going to get better. I'm not sure they'll face each other again, but one of them will at least be in the Finals or the conference finals for the next three years.

    hahaha. GO SUNS GO.
kaw nga kagad naalala ko nung nanalo suns sa game 7(with clippers) and game 1 sa mavs(2nd time only for the suns to win 3 points or less). wala ba pics ng office mo M54? pero congrats, miami stole game 1 at pistons homecourt. imo, whoever wins the eastern finals will win the championship.
pero go suns pa rin ako until the championship. sana hangang game 7 championship with the suns. di ba M54?

Too early for that.....let's find out about that three weeks from now.
They're no match for Heat or Pistons even if they come out beating the hell out of the MAVS.

Reason is D...for defense....which both teams out west don't have going against the east big two.

I guess the bigwigs in Atlanta are saying to themselves "What were we thinking?" when they traded Boris D. for Joe Johnson. Not a knock on JJ, though, who I think is an excellent player. Its just that Boris contributes a lot more for the Suns and he's a big factor in why they're winning. JJ on the other hand is the top scorer and assist man in a lottery team with very dim hopes of improving unless they get a major makeover of the roster (and coaching staff).

Boris Diaw fits the Phoenix Suns' system like Coffee and Cream. And he has a coach thats will to trust his players to make plays. D'Antonni doesn't call too much plays, he gives his players freedom - the end result, his players are more relaxed and play at a higher level even with the pressure on. Altanta wanted Boris to be a big PG which he isn't, and the presence of Josh Childress, Josh Smith didn't help either.

Hehe, since when did they heat gets associated with D?

    Their D is horrendous!

The Heat got creamed when they played Phoenix during the regular season, they can't even plug Shaq in the game coz he can't run with the Suns, neither din Zo...

As for Diaw's talent, don't forget the fact that he's playing with Nash... I don't think it's a coincidence that Joe Johnson, Q.Rich, Bell, Diaw etc. have had career seasons when they were playing with Nash.

Having open shots and timely passes makes a big diff when it comes to scoring vs. going one-on-one all the time.

Actually, this year's playoffs doomed a lot of forecasts....lalo na yung mga galing sa "experts" daw ng ESPN. Where is Marc Stein's Spurs now??? The Suns destroyed Hollinger's predictions too.

Ha-ha-ha-ha, those guys should be covering the NDBL instead.

I remember that game, 1st quarter pa lang 40pts na Phoenix... D'Antonni's system combined with Steve Nash's savvy makes them go.

People still don't believe that the Suns can't make it all the way. I was one of the doubters but not anymore. Suns will force you to play at their pace which is Run, Run, Run and Gun. Steve Nash is the key.

Miami Heat isn't exactly a good defensive team...

But this is no regular season bro.....look at HEAT's record in the playoffs and compare it to your SUNS two 7-game series. Tsk...tsk...tsk layo ng difference.

    Kasama na forecast's ko

In fairness to those guys, they write exellent stuff. ESPN has some of the best writers in the business.
