I don't think Amare was shut down, he scored at least 30 pts in 2 of the 3 games. He's a freak of nature, He's athletesicm reminds me of Shawn Kemp only better. Even TD can't guard him, nobody in the NBA can, there's a saying that you can't really stop a great scorer only contain them for stretches. What the Spurs did was pressure Steve Nash and did a good job on the pick and roll forcing turnovers and getting out on the break. Also the Suns came out flat with no energy whatsoverOriginally Posted by kimpOy

IMHO, Jordan Shaq n Amare weren't shut down. I believe they still had their numbers/averages. Its just that DET HOU & SA had better teamwork. Also Hakeem, TD & DET weren't shutdown either, and played better than their counterparts.Originally Posted by kimpOy

jordan, shaq's team were shut down before getting their rings
before jordan's team, isiah's team was whipping boy of larry's celtics
You have to beat the champ before becoming a champ. The Lakers almost did that last season when they beat the Spurs, unfortunately Karl Malone and Horace Grant wasn't able to play in the finals.
panalo heat! woohoo!![]()
d parin ma-stop c wade...
chumachamba c shaq sa freethrow..bwehehehehe!
Ha! the Pistons don't have an answer for D-Wade. I still look for the Pistons to bounce back.![]()
That Amare dunk-block was unreal, they showed it again and again, TD's dunk was on the way down, Amare's FINGERS were bent backwards fully, covering the lid of the rim and he blocked the ball off TD's hand and momentum!!!
2-2 na! :D
sana manalo SUNS bukas, id like to see more of amare playing till the FINALS.
funny thing is its Hamilton, whos not known for its defensive play slowed the Flash a little bit.
Larry is Brown is so going to be LeBron's Boss
Great game by the Spurs and Suns, down the wire finish. Amare was a beast scoring over 40 pts. not enough help by the other Suns specially Shawn Marion, Quintin Richardson was injured so the Suns were down to a 7 man rotation. Big offseason for them, big decisions to be made.
