What the? 39M(for 6 years) for Hedo? I don't think Spurs will match the Magic offer...

"Carlos Boozer and the Utah Jazz have agreed on a six-year, $68 million offer sheet, ESPN's David Aldridge reports.
It is a crushing blow to the Cleveland Cavaliers, who made Boozer an unrestricted free agent with the belief he would re-sign with them for their mid-level exception."
Langhiya nasilaw na sa pera si Boozer. Greedy Bastard!

yep kaya may option na tapatan ng Cavs yung offer ng Jazz. Unfortunately di na sila financially able to make a counter offer because of their current salary cap. They need to trade some of their players to free some space sa cap. Kaso bad blood na si Boozer ke Paxson sa ginawa niya kasi. He made a public annoucement na he will stay the cavs and accept their midlevel exception offer. Kaso mukhang nasulsulan nung agent niya.

yan kasi ang gamble ng mga owners kung ayaw nila iextend agad yung contract ng player, malaki risk na aalis sila... the west got another premier player...

I believe that the Cavs had a "team option" for the coming season in Boozer's contract but they did'nt pick it up, believing that Boozer will re-up with them for the full Mid Level exception (6 years 40mil)... But the Jazz came up with a better offer (6 years and $68mil). Unless the Cavs can come up with a miracle and clear some cap space its bye bye Carlos.
The Cavs thought that they were doing Boozer a favor but in the end they got double crossed. Money talks.Last edited by ILuvDetailing; July 9th, 2004 at 03:14 PM.

If the deal with Boozer, Okur pushes through, Utah will have one of the best front courts in the west...

Sobrang bilib ako sa management and coaching staff ng Utah... I mean, how many teams can do what they did last year having lost 2 of their hall of famers and backbone for the past 18 years and still almost made it to the playoffs with a bunch of young, no-namers.
Sloan rules.
Thread was made nung 2018 pa po sir.
