Eto dati kong bike (specialized xc pro bike frame):

Japan Surplus Collector here. Started out with 20" folding bikes then slowly got a few MTBs of my own. Our rides are mostly on pavement and with Philippine road conditions, it could feel like a trail sometimes.Bought each for 3k then slowly changed tires to commuter (no "knobby"), replaced chains, cables and other parts when needed. All original shimano parts, One frame is steel/alloy (Rockstar) and other chromoly (Giant ATR). Absorbs vibrations real well - bulletproof steel durability.. Probably soon when i got the time and money i might get me a real custom MTB

^
I have 3 sets of tyres for my bike. One pair is for pavement, another is for intermediate (mixed trail/pavement), the last pair is for mud/loose gravel (knobby's).
Though, I get to use the intermediate much often. :D
me using slick/commuter tires (michelin country rock) since most of the time i'm on the road (except passing a short strip of dirt road).![]()
That's classic Triple Triangle Framed Hardtail (GT Avalanche?). One of the best rides to enter the
Cross Country Races. Simply because Hardtail Frames are much lighter compared to
Full Suspension Frames.
Almost 3 years ago the last time I visited Cartimar for a pair of tubeless tires.
Yes, I believe you can still buy a complete bike for 20k.
Get an Aluminum GT frame look-alike, Shimano Groupo (cheapest will do, just make sure it's Shimano),
Aluminum wheels, Thick Tires, Comfortable saddle, etc. and you're ready to go.
Get a helmet. And please, don't buy skinny bald tires. Those are for roadies.
If you do, isasama kita sa "Goon Squad"![]()

I suggest you window shop muna sa cartimar.
Note sa mga type mo, then google around.
Try MTB pinoy forums also.
