suppose you need to goto supermarket. do you wear FFP3 or do you wear surgical mask? it's pretty obvious the FFP3 protects you better

if you wanna continue w/ your surgical masks, problema mo yun. but people who want better protection should get better masks

If you really are so paranoid, I won't blame you for wearing the most efficient mask that you can buy. Make sure you religiously wear it everywhere, and hope you have ample supply of it.

But for the general populace in public spaces, wearing any form of face covering is already enough in preventing the spread of the virus. As I've posted earlier, just know your science.

When an infected person goes out wearing a mask, most of the virus in his exhalation will be trapped in the mask, and anything that escapes won't have enough velocity to fly out far in the air. And definitely, surgical masks will be more effective that cloth masks as most surgical masks have 3 layers, so lesser chance for the virus to penetrate.

Now, if you will be going to high virus concentration areas like covid wards of hospitals, or quarantive facilities, then you should be wearing at least an N05 mask, but wearing full PPE suits should be highly recommended.

i don't see how SARSCOV2 will go away now that it has gone global (unlike SARS1 and MERSCOV)

i believe SARSCOV2 will become a mainstay virus that will bother humans forever

maybe in time become less harmful like other coronaviruses that only cause common cold

so for me all this trying to avoid the virus is unsustainable

sure you can buy a lifetime supply of N95...

but i believe sooner or later we're all gonna get it

China standard ang KN95 di ba, pero mostly substandard ang gawa. So better mag surgical mask nalang kesa gastos ng mas mahal pero hindi naman din effective.

Ok naman siguro KF94 basta gawa sa Korea. Maraming KN95 usually di kasi pumapasa dun sa supposedly 95% or better filtration. Kung makakakuha ka ng brand na gamit ng hospitals nila doon siguro naman pumapasa din. Pero kahit anong KN95 better pa din siguro than surgical mask kasi mas maganda ang seal.
