remember dati ang candidate for swab kailangan may symptoms, close contact, travel history

Saw Joe Con's interview and pooled testing is going to be an initiative of theirs. Maybe a number cruncher can do the math and see if pooled testing can still help our limited PCR testing capacity.

But problem with rapid test is the accuracy. Like what happened to me im not sure how many percentage but I think its high positive rapid IgM but negative in swab. Our rapidtest was postponed due to mecq I was supposed to check on our rapid testkits.

rapid test is a screening tool

cannot use it as a stand alone

kaya every 2 weeks ang rapid test -- mga nag negative 2 weeks ago baka wala pa antibodies

so keep testing baka lumabas ang antibodies

Of course not, kaya nga RAT (BOSON) ang ginagamit ko,
Ang point ko may mga private PCR lab owners ang mag lobby against RAT dahil it will reduce their potential income.

New record ulit... aiming 200k by end of August. Yesterday was lower because fewer labs reported by the deadline...

    DOH COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN #143

As of 4PM today, August 04, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 112,593.

A total of 6,352 confirmed cases are reported based on the total tests done by 80 out of 94 current operational labs.

DOH likewise announces 240 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 66,049.

    Note:
Of the 6,352 reported cases today, 3,941 (62%) occurred within the recent 14 days (July 22-August 4, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were in NCR (1,826 or 46.3%), Region 4A (981 or 24.9%) and Region 3 (253 or 6.4%).

    Of the 11 deaths, 1 (9%) in August, 8 (73%) in July, 1 (9%) in June, and 1 (9%) in May. Deaths were from Region 7 (5 or 45%), Region 11 (2 or 18%), Region 9 (2 or 18%), Region 4A (1 or 9%), and NCR (1 or 9%).

There were eighty-nine (89) duplicates that were removed from the total case count. Of these, twelve (12) recovered cases have been
    removed.

These numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation.

Yep thats why we are on mecq now. I just find it ironic that our neighboring countries such as japan, korea etc.... they have much lower number of cases considering they have cold weather isn't it this type of virus thrive more in cold weather? and yet we have much more cases than them.
