mukhang airborne nga kasi majority superspreader eh sa aircon nangyayari or makukulob na lugar.

Isipin nyo lang yung mga naglockdown na mga bangko, palengke.

Buti nga supermarket wala pa maybe high ceiling?

me thinks the gov't will bite the bullet and not enforce ncr wide quarantine anymore. localized lockdowns they will do but not metrowide ones. roughly 60% of the national economy is reliant on the ncr, calabarzon, and even the northern luzon commercial trade and if those go kaput, everyone will have to say their respective prayers.

having said that, w/ the economy barely breathing, the gov't's greatest fear right now is widespread hunger. that's the most volatile ingredient for unrest.

They are either overwhelmed by the number of patients and can't make a legitimate contact tracing or the patients are not telling the whole truth. I doubt if a positive patient will tell a gov't contact tracer that he violated Curfew of his barangay to go out drinking with friends or bumisita sa kabit. hahaha

if you look at countries that have flatten the curve they have very extensive and strict contact tracing protocol.

Sobra delayed mag report on the barangay level. a friend of mine was already in the ICU a few days before the barangay goes to their house to inform him na positive siya and the house will be on restrictive quarantine and testing.

The DILG-Napolcom building along Edsa corner Quezon Avenue in Quezon City was placed under a one-week lockdown starting this Monday, two days after Interior Undersecretary for Operations Epimaco Densing III confirmed he has COVID-19. |

I think it's safe to say that the surge is confirmed. I think we'll be seeing some locations going back to ECQ on July 15 to mitigate.

    Elevator buttons... 71 positive infections...

An asymptomatic coronavirus carrier infected an apartment neighbour without sharing the same space. A study blames the building's elevator buttons. | Business Insider

A woman traveled from the US back to her home in China's Heilongjiang province on March 19. Although she did not have any symptoms, she quarantined in her apartment following her arrival, avoiding any close contact with other apartment-building residents. An antibody test would later reveal she was an asymptomatic coronavirus carrier.

Three weeks later, her downstairs neighbor (and four of the neighbor's close contacts) tested positive.

The two apartment-building neighbors had not crossed paths. But they had used the same elevator at different times.

According to a new CDC study, the downstairs neighbor "likely became infected by using the elevator in the building" after the asymptomatic carrier had ridden it, the study authors wrote. They think transmission likely occurred when the neighbor touched surfaces and buttons in the elevator.

No other residents in the building tested positive, but contact tracing later revealed the neighbor was patient zero of a 71-person cluster in the local community.
