Yes but only the surfaces that come into contact with the light. There are models that produce ozone that supposedly sterilize even the areas untouched by light. But you will come into contact with the ozone when you reenter the room.

If you have the ozone producing version best have an air purifier with activated carbon turned on from outside the room after the UVC lamp has turned off.

Even the non ozone producing ones supposedly produce a little ozone. Better assume all of them do.

Yun lang. But still better for indoor spaces specially those with poor ventilation. The virus lingers in the air for hours. UVC will also kill the virus suspended in aerosol.

Just checked covid tracker, in SEA kulelat pala tayo in cases per capita. And 1 of only 2 countries left with rising new cases.

Forty-five more employees of MRT-3 tested positive the coronavirus, four of which are ticket sellers.

Two of them are stationed at Cubao station, one is at North Avenue station while one is a reserve, the DOTr said. | *DYGalvezINQ

French patients were sick with Covid-19 in mid-November and before China - researchers

Doctors in the French Haut-Rhin region, hit hard by Covid-19, say they’ve detected several cases dating back to 16 November 2019 – long before the disease is believed to have surfaced in France, and before it was even announced in China.

The hospital's chief of medical imaging, Professor Michel Schmitt, said the process allowed radiologists to pinpoint two cases of “typical anomalies caused by Covid-19” dated 16 November, 2019 and then 12 others in December and January – up until the virus reached its epidemic stage.

Doctors from across France have been trying to track the country's earliest case which, until now, is understood to have been found in Bondy, in the department of Seine-Saint-Denis north of Paris, on 27 December – after PCR flu samples were re-tested.

Earlier this month, Yves Cohen, head of resuscitation at the Jean Verdier and Avicenne hospitals – in Bondy and nearby Bobigny –told French TV channel BFM that a man had tested positive for Covid-19 nearly a month before the French government confirmed its first cases.

tingin ko kaya lalo dumadami confirmed cases kasi madami public and private companies and gov't agencies nirarapid test mga empleyado

syempre madami nag-p-positive sa antibodies so they need to get swabbed

though madami false positive ang antibody test meron talaga mga nag-p-positive sa swab

ang sinasabi ko basically rapid tests are revealing those who should be PCR-tested

those who wouldn't really be candidates for swab test nahahanap ng rapid test at kailangan i-swab

kaya padami nang padami ang mga confirmed cases

Kala niyo mga mahihirap lang walang disiplina at social distancing?

Eto o mga taga-BGC kala mo walang virus:

At least everyone had masks (except the mainlander who owns the husky) but noone was practicing social distancing.

Actually BGC was full of people today (about the same if not more than your typical Sunday pre-ECQ).
