Meanwhile in Cebu City...

Nags start na naman daw mapuno mga hospitals from covid, at least in Asian, sabi ng friend ko
There's also a thread in redd1t na frontliner who said the same...

Actually sa hospital where my wife works, kinonvert na to a COVID floor yung floor nila. Kahit nung initial outbreak ng COVID di nila ginawa yun. It means marami nga naiinfect ngayon and mga higher income pa (since private hospital 'to).

I can't take it anymore pag binalik tayo sa ECQ. Then pag bumababa open ulit then tataas cases balik nanaman.

I better scrap the idea na makakapagpa check up pa ko this year. Naalalaa ko tuloy si OB na ultimately talagang healthy body ang pinaka importante

diba we mentioned na dumadami ang cases pero hindi naman madami deaths
one explanation is that doctors are now more knowledgeable in treating covid
another explanation is most cases are young people so either asymptomatic or mild
PERO what if those who tested positive are PRE-symptomatic
meaning they were caught early and they will develop symptoms later
since the virus takes more than 20 days to kill
we could see higher number of deaths later this month
LOOK: DOH COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN #113
As of 4PM today, July 05, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 44,254.
In addition to the 1,147 fresh cases, 1,287 late cases were reported today, which brings the total to 2,434 cases.
Today's fresh cases are based on the daily accomplishment reports submitted by only 58 out of 73 current operational labs.
DOH likewise announces 489 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 11,942.
Note:
Of the 7 reported deaths, 6 (86%) occurred in June. Ten duplicates were removed from the total case count. The total cases reported may be subject to change as these numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation.
As the country continues to ease community quarantine measures, the rise in the number of cases today may be attributed to the increased contact among the population.
We implore the public to continue practicing general preventive measures, such as proper hand washing, physical distancing, wearing of mask, avoidance of non-essential travel outside their homes, and to observe minimum health standards to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
We appeal to all establishments to implement the minimum health standards in their premises and immediately report clustering of confirmed cases in their respective workplaces.

If our basis is hospital capacity and 2434 fresh new cases today should we go back now to MECQ?
