Coronavirus Fears in China Find a New Target: Salmon
China is blaming everyone else but itself.
It's the China Wuhan Virus!
In Cebu...
SunStar Cebu
Cebu City Health Department reports 26 new recoveries; 9 new deaths; and 126 new confirmed cases of the Coronavirus disease-2019.
As of today, June 20, 2020, Cebu City has a total of 4,364 confirmed Covid-19 cases; 2,092 recoveries; and 73 deaths.
Of the total number of confirmed cases, 2,199 are active.
Hay dami, nagkukumahog sila ngayon contact tracing kasi kumakalat na.
Good news though is karamihan asymptomatic naman.
Bad news is one hospital meron nurse na nagpositive at meron balita na some department might be closed till results of swab test comes out. Buti meron na dito PCR machine so a day or two, alam na result.

Oh man, may nag positive sa barangay namin, isolated na rin family nya, yet wala pa rin lockdown kahit sana sa street na kung saan nakatira yung tao.

According to the news PH now has 62 accredit PCR lab. Although I don't know how many PCR machines we have since some labs like in Clark field Pampanga has 2 PCR machine. We now have an estimated 50k testing capacity per day. Kaya lang kulang daw testing supply so nasa 16k lang ang nagagawa per day. Big thanks to Red Cross. Red cross is still planning to add more labs near tourist destinations.

How come they dont display the total tests done?
So we can validate the much broadcasted 50k daily testing capacity

i have been asking that for some time now.
why display only the number of positives detected during the interval, and then mention only the grand total of tests done?
reporting the number of tests done for that period, and the number of positives detected therein, will give the interested reader a better grasp of the local situation.
are they scared if the citizen finds out just how many tests per day, they are doing?
Meron naman:
https://ncovtracker.doh.gov.ph/
We test around 13k individuals per day, a far cry from the forecasted 30k testing capacity.
