Heard from today's DOH press con that the person who died had been tested negative at the local Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, not Australia as reported earlier. Even though he had fever, the DOH initially did not send his samples to Australia for additional confirmatory test, which only can accept seven subjects at a time.

Only when he had pneumonia did they send his samples to Australia, which came back positive.

Even the US says testing isn't foolproof...

Speaking of Chinese medicine, while visiting my dad in Fuzhou 2 years ago, we went to a popular tourist destination, meron dun isang Chinese drugstore, we went inside and nakita ko yung mga ingredients while they're preparing the meds, it's a mixture of different herbs and different kinds of insects 🤢.
