Dr. Liang Wudong, was one of many Doctors who volunteered to treat patients of the Novel Corona Virus in WUHAN. He was infected while treating patients, and he became the first medical staff to loose his life while battling the #coronavirus in the #frontline Please remember this true hero while everyone was running away from Wuhan, there are countless frontline medical staff who are risking their lives as we speak to cure and save others.
He’s not KobeBryant but he deserves just as much if not, more respect for his contributions to humanity.
This is undoubtedly the beauty of this profession

dr edsel salvana already said it.
"there is only one way to wear a medical mask."
i suspect, what started out as a joke, along the lines of wearing underwear one way, and inside out the next day, was taken in, hook, line and sinker...
i do not know how it started.
even professor google says it right.
one has but to access it... something a lot of folks easily do on a regular basis...

I'm actually debating this with my boss right now. She believes what isko is saying. Even though I'm sending a lot of document proving otherwise. Even a document from Center for Health Protection of HK. Also the fact that all doctors and nurses on OR always wear the colored side out, does that mean may sakit lahat ng doctor at nurse na yun.
Sagot lang sa kin baka marami lang hindi nakaka alam. [emoji2369]
Do you have a link for what Dr edsel salvana said?

China coronavirus: health experts refute misinformation about how to wear face masks | AFP Fact CheckHealth experts have stressed that the only correct way to wear this type of disposable mask with the coloured side visible and white side turned towards the wearer's face.
Dr. Seto Wing Hong, the co-director of the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Control and a professor at the University of Hong Kong, demonstrated the proper use of face masks here.
“You got to wear it like this; the blue on the outside, the white on the inside,” Dr. Seto notes.
Dr. Seto explains that the coloured part is worn on the outside because it is waterproof and prevents moisture from entering. The white side, Seto adds, is worn on the inside because it is absorbent and prevents germs from being released to the atmosphere.
Seto Wing Hong, co-director of the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Control and professor of the school of public health at the University of Hong Kong, talks about the new virus that broke out in the Chinese city of Wuhan.

May nakita din ako sa YT, isang nurse sa US and ganun din ang sinabi na pwde daw gamitin both sides, kaya nung una confused din ako, buti na lang may nakita rin ako sa FB from HK CHP saying it should be worn colored side out.
