The answer: 1,030 tests pa lang po. This is probably why our numbers are low.

Minnesota, with a smaller population and economy, had already conducted 2,700 tests to date, and they started later than us.

Both articles came from one source only "Hong Kong’s Hospital Authority". Pinag pasa pasahan lang itong article na ito. They use the word "may" because they themselves aren't sure about it yet.

My wife and most of my friends are doctors. They are frontliners but they can't even get tested even with exposure.

The requirement for them is exposure to a PUI + moderate to severe symptoms. Otherwise 14 day quarantine ka lang.

So it ticks me off when I see privilege at play even for something as critical as this.

Totally understandable even if you don't have love one's in the fronline.

This is one thing the DOH didn't plan for. The test kits reserved for the health care workers. Words are what they need right now, testing every 3 days imho should be standard since they are the ones most specially exposed. Duque really ****ed this one up. Too late in bringing in test kits and approving the testing of the UP kits as well.

Remember the time China had a sudden surge in cases because there was not enough testing kits or testing was time consuming. They gave their doctors discretion to declare a positive case.
