Actually since the DOH only does random variant test, we don't know if all those hospitalized afflicted with Omicron variant or baka the Delta variant? From what i can see most people with the Omicron has mild symptoms, similar to colds.

They have the chart at the DOH website, it reads as follows:

Current DOH protocol as of Dec 31, 2021

    1. positive case (asymptomatic, mild, moderate)- 10 days isolation
    2. positive case (severe) - 21 days isolation
    3. suspected close contact/travellers - if fully vaccinated 7 days quarantine/isolation, if unvaccinated 14 days quarantine/isolation.

Kapag dinala ka na sa ospital ibig sabihin nun kailangan mo na talaga ng oxygen at di na kaya ng mga kasama mo sa bahay ang kalagayan mo.

Just googling for homecare for COVID patients Philippines ang dami nang lalabas mga 2021 pa. Even the VP gave away COVID care kits back in April 2021 when quarantine facilities and hospitals were overflowing. Jeez you really are one of those locker aliens.

Problem is with so many people getting booster shot you might get infected in vaccination center.

Maybe instead of telling DOH to stop giving out numbers and hospitals to stop testing, tell people to stop getting tested everytime they feel ill. Just tell them "wala yan". See if that lowers the numbers.

Tama ka, this variant maybe the train that gets us to immunity pero we are avoiding it and in the process we are hurting the economy.

Are hotels equipped to police their guests? Parang unfair naman sa hotel. Although the hotel should monitor and report the status of their quarantine guests to the authority but I don't think they should be policing them.

May racket kasi mga quarantine hotels. Kung quarantine by absentee ka papalabasin na staycation guest ka para pwede ka makalabas anytime. Ilalagay ka sa floor na walang BOQ coast guard na bantay.

pre-pandemic, when people catch a cold they don't demand tests to find out what virus they caught

pre-pandemic, hindi binibilang ang mga tao nagkakasipon

    so eto ang new normal

PCR tests, daily case reports, quarantines, restrictions...

    mass hysteria

    dahil sa respiratory infection
