Cebu City and Cebu Province used to be hit very badly and was even back to ECQ when most of the country, including NCR-Plus was at GCQ.

It did something right and must still be doing as it is not on the list despite the proximity of some of the badly hit provinces.

But will they listen? No! They have their own "experts".

Dr. David still wants the limits for social gathering to continue... But many are already holding parties.

OCTA Research backs Metro Manila possible shift to 'ordinary' GCQ | ABS-CBN News

The capital region now contributes only 27 percent of COVID-19 cases in the country's daily tally from 97 percent during its peak between March 29 to April 4, OCTA Research Group fellow Guido David said.

Virus reproduction rate, or the number of people affected by a virus patient, in Metro Manila is at 0.72, while the positivity rate is "down to 8 percent" and hospitalization rate is at a "safe level" of 40 percent, he added.

"Sinusupport natin yan because at this time, gumaganda naman ang situation sa NCR (National Capital Region)... We can take some risks na pagbubukas ng businesses. So far, wala pa naman tayong nakikita community transmission sa businesses," David told ABS-CBN's TeleRadyo.

(We support this because at this time, the situation in NCR is getting better... We can take some risks in opening businesses. So far, we have not seen community transmission in establishments.)

Do you think that majority of the filipino knows how vaccine really works? because in Pasay vaccination center I noticed that after they get vaccinated the moment they go out then there is a lot of restaurants in the area and they eat there. They might think that they are immune now from covid after getting 1st dose.

sa mga kilala ko hindi alam na 2 weeks after the 2nd dose pa effective kasi sa mga GC ko excited na nga lumabas right after the 2nd dose and when I said it takes 2 more weeks parang masama loob nila hahaha. Honestly, if it weren't for Tsikot, I would NOT know this as well.

Kulang ang info drive ng DOH and LGU's regarding the vaccine.
FAQ about the vaccine are being answered in the FB pages of the DOH and LGU's but as pinoy alam mo naman na hindi tayo mahilig magbasa ng mga ganun. Even if you put an infomercial on the vaccination center for people to watch before being vaccinated, i am sure a lot will not watch. If you delegate naman the info drive to the HCW as a step to get the vaccination baka naman lalo na tumagal yung time dun sa vaccination sites. Sayang yung oras rather then that time spent vaccinating more people.
Kung sa bagong Kotse nga majority ng pinoys hindi binabasa yung owners manual magtatanong na lang sa mga kakilala pag mayrun hindi ma figure out.

in the future, some manufacturers might get the insane idea of adding a little something, say, a pyrogen, so that the vaccine recipient might suffer some discomfort.
    heh heh.
Hehehe… why not… some people need actual experience as confirmation so please add a pyrogen… hahaha…

Wala ang China and Russia which have their own vaccines. And yet they dont donate sa Covax, but diretso sa country friends nila.
