^Root of the problem still is the population na gustong manirahan sa Metro Manila.

Yes we can do that, but it means majority need to use the public transpo na palpak naman lagi add mo pa yung security issue mo na pwede kang ma holdap or madukutan lagi so andyan pa rin yung problema natin sa "transportation".

Like what I said, yung build build program ngayon like subway and yung extensions ng mga lrts and mrts are just bandaid solutions because those can't keep up with the rapid increase in population dito.

It's time to decongest Metro Manila na talaga.

Population explosion encompasses real issues of the society. Though this is one obvious reason.

One thing I can really say is Edsa is a design flaw. Major commercial establishments are just a few feet of Edsa. Of course the taxes to local LGUs will delight any municipality. However, when development continues, the entire Metro Manila suffers.

How can you limit sale ng kotse eh open market po tayo. Gusot mo bang umalis na lahat ng businesses dito? Kung I limit mo benta ng kotse eh di pwesd din limit benta ng milk tea?

If restricting via age of vehicle (higher cost to maintain ownership during registration and more strict requirements as they would need the cars to adhere to more recent regulations like Euro 4 compliance) or limiting sale of vehicles, automatic maririnig mo is anti-poor agad ang isisigaw. But I think, it really makes sense to restrict on both ends while at the same time improve mass transit, not just on rail but even bus (please lang tanggalin na ang jeep, gawin na lang minibus or yung modern PUV talaga for the less travelled routes).

Para sa mga tricycles, I really also think we need to do away with them, even the ebikes, except at the barangay level lang (bawal sa major roads and highways, pang secondary or collector roads/minor roads lang).

There is a need to rationalize transportation on all fronts, public and private.

Kahit anung "rationalize" ni LTFRB sa bus routes, kung puro dagdag lang gagawin nila, wala din naman masolve yun, along with yung mga colorum pa.

Dapat for 1 or 2 years, lahat ng mahuli na colorum (vans, taxis or buses), automatic, government use vehicle na, deport to the provinces na walang service vehicles or limited service vehicles. Tigas ulo e. Tingnan mo kung hindi titino.

For those along major roads and highways, bawal din talaga dapat ang on-street parking.

We also need clearly defined PUV/PUB stops na kung pwepwede naka pasok or outside the road right of way parang yung mga service bay ng MMDA but of course, not in the middle of traffic.

Aren't they moving the national departments to Clark? DOTR was the first right but others will follow suit?
