Suction Control Valve pala. Saan yan naka locate brad? hindi, gasoline ung 1.4 GAMMA engine ng Accent. May diesel variant ba? hindi ako alam un ah. Kaya nga risky din pagbili ng tsikot lalo na bagong labas ang engine hindi pa tried and tested.

yan yung thread tungkol sa SCV, hirap i explain eh hehe.

mababasa mo din sa D4D problems thread yan. kadalasan yan pumapalpak kaya nagkaka problema.

engine stalling usually.

RE accent: oo merong diesel variant nun na CRDi. wala ba sa thread ng hyundai?

I happen to compare two of the 2012 Fortuner variants yesterday at their Alabang showroom, the 2.5 G AT and the 3.0 V AT. I've noticed na there's not much difference sa exterior and interior, so it seems like yung engine nalang & yung 4x4 feature nagkatalo. A few queries lang...

Yes, the power difference is significant. The G and V variant is exactly the same (A/T G vs A/T V). The only the difference is the engine and V being a 4wd plus the power driver seats on the V. If you do not need the power, go for the G.

Got my Fortuner D4D A/T G variant today

Surprisingly it only took me 2 days to find a unit without having to shell out extra which seems almost all dealerships are taking advantage of the scarce supply and high demand. I was able to get my unit from Toyota Bicutan via bank CA interest rate at 9% for 24mos.

Took a photo but it was covered by the 2012 Avanza, so I took the Avanzas photo instead hahahaha. The Fortuner is at the back (dark steel mica).

I just have to make do with the engine's power I guess. I remember my Innova G which has the same engine, I kept looking for another gear, kulang ng gear since underpowered and engine. Hehehehe. The 3.0 is 300k more expensive, can't justify the price difference since this car will serve as the coding vehicle for the family
