Otep: saw sa Satoshi, 4m40 130K lang. 2.8 4jB1 - 70K, with tranny na. Didnt ask kung may harness, etc.

Yung 3.1 TDi sabi nung hapon na Noypi hirap pa raw kumuha. Sa ebay meron USD 3.5K. Chrono,trup if ever 4JX1 na kuhanin niyo.

Brand new po ba yun? Nakita ko lang kasi sa Diamond Motors last week meron silang crate engine na 4d56.

gusto ko 4jx1 na manual tranny or even my v6 with manual trans.

Sir garyq/otep, ano po ba yang satoshi? Dealer ba yan ng new diesel engines? Also, am clueless about engine purchases - normally ba kasama na yung tranny o hindi? Iever, yung existing AT tranny ko, maisasalpak kaya without any problem if ever I change to a 4JX1? Thanks for the inputs...:D

Gearings from gas-fed engine differs greatly on diesel-fed units. Especially the final gear ratios located in your differentials.

ay hindi! Satoshi, surplasan yan. Yung 4m40 na nakita ko surplus and the 2.8 4JB1. I know someone na naglagay ng 4Jb1 sa isuzu fuego complete with suspension, 4x4. (paging rookie, inputs pls). Ungas has a point, iba nga yung gearing. Ungas: Bro how different ba? more on high torque (overall)? ang diesel?

garyq::: Sir, sa pagkakaalam ko gas-fed engines need more taller gears in the tranny to compensate for the lack of torque while having smaller gears at the differentials for more grunt at high speeds. Vice versa for diesel units.
