Yung A/C kasi pagaganahin pati yung vent sa may paa ng 2nd seat. Orig kasi meron dun. Mali rin yung location ng thermocouple for the thermostat. Aayusin niya yung housing ng blower and evaporator. How much? Pag tapos na I will post some pix and pm you the cost. Yung wiring papaayos ko rin. Hopefully b4 Wed next week matapos. Im back to my beloved Honda hatch.

natapos na yung Trooper ko. Mga ginawa:

1. Pull down evaporator. Palit expansion valve. Yung orig na position nung blower, evaporator and nung thermosensor binalik. You wouldnt want to see the before pix coz talagang pinagana lang yung A/C syst. ja22bo had to repipe the evaporator to position it properly including the drain. Gumana na rin yung electronic thermostat. Yung housing ng evaporator ginawa din lalo na yung exhaust going to the ducts. Fiberglass bale.
2. Yung mga vents ginawan niya ng fiberglass adaptors to receive the ducts.
3. Foot vents on the second seat are now running. Meron kasi ang Trooper nito.
4. Ni-re pipe some a/c lines sa engine bay. Palit isang line na may singaw.
5. Surplus condenser fan. Auto ON/OFF based on compressor DC
signal.
6. Insulation ng firewall.
7. All micro bulbs for instrumentation(switches) were replaced. 14 bulbs in total. Maliwanag na yung panel ko ngayon.
8. Reposition radio and extension of a/c wires.
9. Cluster facia repainted.

Yung mga pix na na-send ni ja22bo wont do justice dun sa nagawa but I will still post it sa gallery natin. Price, pm me. My frank comments: his price is on the high side. Dont add up the materials and compare it to the price. I think what you are paying here is the know how. I am also a service engineer (electronics) so yung kaalaman talaga ang binabayaran. Mas mura na next time coz bi-bigyan daw ako ng MALAKING discount di ba Joseph?. He!he! For converted vehicles Joseph knows how to do it, especially sa a/c system. By the way he is a Mechanical Engineer from UST. Same alma mater. Yung mga micro bulbs only DIY's will do that. Madaling kausap naman si Joseph. May mga ibabalik pa ako coz i need to change my electronic thermostat and the sensor. I was planning of buying the whole HVAC and dash assbly from the U.S. That's the best solution. Yung trabaho ni ja22bo is the 2nd best. Salamat uli bro. At salamat dun sa MALAKING discount na ibibigay mo sa akin next time.

My price is reasonable naman diba, considering the quality workmanship, would you rather pay cheaper price pero pangit naman ang gawa. I applied standard rates naman, as you know auction in malinta charges 10k for ac conversion pero tignan mo naman ang ginawa, baliktad ang mounting ang nagfreeze siya. Dont worry may discount next time madali naman akong kausap

Nakakita din ako ng Bighorn to 2k4 Trooper conversion. Kuhang kuha. Kaso parang mahal gawin yun.

ano yong dashboard niya yung modelo naba? yung original emblen kasi sa casa kalang talaga makakabili unless kung sungkit. i got mine complete emblem almost 7K sa ibat ibang casa ko binili.

anyways 2K pala yung paint na ginamit kaya medyo pricey.

kimpoy: nice meeting you last sunday. 430 is a good price for a UBS69, 3.1L Trooper. 80K ok rin coz normally nasa 40K yung hilamos na 2K (dupont) + 40K siguro yung conversion ng front end. Sa 510 ok na kaya lang marami ka pang gagastusin dun coz tyres, rims, etc. Kung kasama yung interiors yun ang ok. Actually yung dash ng UB..73 is basically the same as dash ng UBS69 na 97-up. You can use all the switches and the cluster. I think worth it if you can get the A/C syst + the dashpanel. IMHO mas maganda to invest on that 1st before the front end conversion and the leather seats. (akin lang yun). Bro may suki ka ba sa Apalit? Directions pls. Next project ko is to buy the fender flares and mud guards. after that pahinga muna. Tnx!

Matatawa ka sa pag convert ng a/c sa mga talyer. pag nabaklas mo yung a/c mo tingnan mo. yung work ni joseph sa akin pakita ko sa iyo. punta ka next EB ha.

hinde gary may nakilala ako taga BF bali physician sya sa p&g nakuha niya bighorn 92 lotus 480K bali second owner siya dito sa pinas. bumili nga siya ng user manual inaalok nga sakin mag produce sya ng 20 copies i post ko raw kung sino interested. inaaya ko nga sa EB next month. sayang d ako naka attend dahil may pinuntahan kaming b-day. sa ngaun siguro stop muna gastos ko katatapos ko lang ng paint . matatagalan pa siguro pag nakatiyempo nalang ng mura. pag nagtour ka nalang ng US pabibili ako saiyo ng parts siguro yung transmission knob nalang muna. see you next EB kailan ba? sana saturday iset kasi mahirap talaga pag sunday.
