Many thanks for ypur replies. Im stil thinking if split type or window. Small room lang naman. I think 1hp is enough.
Yung diser na kausap ko when im looking at kolin window type, r32 daw yung refrigerant na ma phase out later on. How true?

What would you guys recommend for a 21sqm office space. A window type or a split type? And what particular unit would you recommend?

Our room is 19 sqm. I use 1.5hp inverter split type.
Will prolly replace to 2hp when it is beyond repair.
Get the window type if space permits. Problem with split types is the so called technicians dont install properly. In 6 months may leak ang fittings.
May style daw yan sabi ng rogue tech na nakausap ko. Higpit yung flare tapos luluwagan lang ng konting konti para unti unti sisingaw sakto sa 6month warranty ng installation

For a 1 hp window type and a split type inverter.. how much savings should I be expecting each month? Would it be significant in about 2 to 3 years or the split types maintenace would just eat up the saved portion on the consumption?

To give you an idea, i use our inverter aircon daily. 12 hours every weeknight and non-stop on weekends. Our electricity bill for the aircon is only 1,500 monthly (submetered so i know KWh used).
By contrast, a night's consumption of the non inverter window type in the other room is about 200 pesos.
For maintenance, window type cleaning costs only 500 pesos. Split types cost minimum 1,000. I have the inverter cleaned every 6 months.
In case of leaks, recharge of non inverter window type lowest i asked is 500 pesos while inverter split type is 3k, if you haggle.

Hi, usually ba nasa 7,500 installin ng Inverter na split type? San merong medyo mas mura? Yung may cc installment sana

Not sure if there are installers that accept credit cards, usually they are accredited contactors by aircon makers.
When i had my split type installed, i paid 11k for the installation since more than 10 meters of materials were used.

So many sellers now for split-type aircon units:
- appliance stores (Ansons, Abensons, Robinsons Appliance, Automatic Center, etc)
- MC Home Depot
- Wilcon
- All Home
- Lazada
In your experience, where can you get the best deal? And best buying experience?
Thank you in advance.![]()
i would ask first, how much the charge would be, and have the cash ready. plus 50%, just in case.
I think imarflex has free installation promo on their split types. However, the quality of the unit sucks. For better brands, you can pay by credit card at any appliance stores in the malls.

Ansons!! Pwede ka maghaggle ng price sa kanila. Srp yung mga nakalagay sa units but ask for cash price and theyll ask their manager for the lowest price.
Get the best quote sa olx as advised above. Kayang tapatan or even lower mabibigay sa yo sa Anson's ortigas Center

Got a Mitsubishi 1HP inverter a week ago. Installed na din. I love it. This is our 5th unit. Yung Samsung namin 5 years na no problem naman. Cleaning lang madalas kapag humina na lamig or pumapasok ang tubig from evaporator. Got my Mitsu for 25k sa SM Appliance centre
