Ah talaga? Window type inverters are better and more cost-efficient than split?

HIndi lang sa inverter units, even the non-inverters type. Mas cost effective and reliable ang window type airconditioners. Split type is only good if wala ka pag lagyan ng butas, or for aesthetics and if you want low noise as the compressor is located outside. Ang maganda lang sa inverters if you use it at least 8 hours a day, as you will see the decrease of your electric bill considerably

Settled for a 1hp and a .8hp window type Hitatchi Inveter instead of split type. I find it a hassle na need pa ng professional cleaning pag split type.

Yes, and if ever you decide to have it cleaned by a shop, it is cheaper.

So a 0.8 hp is now available instead of 3/4 hp.

I'm assuming that the ultimate reason why some settled for window type is because your place already have existing hole for A/C.

Another reason is installation, it is much easier. You can simply call any carpenter and do the installation yourself compared to split type.

Window type for bedrooms for me eversince... kahit nung nagpa house construction ako. Di pa nga mga inverters. Easy DIY cleaning . Palit na lang ng inverters pag nagloko na. But I have 1 floor standing inverter sa living room. All Panasonic.

Yung isang room ko wala pang hole for the window type kaya I was considering spilt type para mas maliit yung hole. Pero after researching I ended up with window type inverters dahil sa cost ng maintenance. I was suprised na tahimik din pala pag window type na inverter.

Can you please share this learning? I'm curious as to the reason behind it, coz all my life i've been doing this unhealthy thing, even as I type this post, I am directly in front of our ac's blower as I have just opened it. but it does not hit our bed directly so i'm not" in the line of fire", when i sleep

Some with sensitive skins can attest to this, like formation of "flakes" around the lips and itchiness to joints accompanied by redness.

It is generally recommended to set the thermostat with a 5 degree difference from the ambient temperature, comfortable to most people staying inside the room all the time.

However, most of us are known to be stubborn, just like me, and so we go against the recommendations of the experts.
The 5 degree difference is generally comfortable to people who are outside then suddenly entered an air-conditioned room. Even if you're perspiring, you are still somewhat comfortable.

For rooms built not for human comfort, but to protect the electrical and electronic equipment, the thermostat setting is much lower. So if you're heavily perspiring and you enter that room, you'll feel right away the sudden rush of heat away from your body. That is, you feel so cold and uncomfortable.

Of course, some would prefer to feel the cold air right away upon entering the room instead of waiting for their bodies to be acclimated to the room temperature. That is the purpose of that "caution" in the Owner's Manual, to warn us of our tendency to do this.

i still use window type, because it still satisfies my needs.
i am lucky, because our house is window-type friendly.

    the workplace has split types.
i have seen the trouble the aircon folks suffer, when servicing them.
i do not want to undergo similar experience.

Convenience and not necessarily better performance.
