I bought a sanyo 2.5hp inverter type months ago for 34k only. Price excludes installation. Planning to get another unit if budget permits
For sharing lang boss, my bill went down by 25 % for the period june-july compared to may-june due to weather changes, so assuming na ganun din sa inyo, ang net savings ng shift nyo to inverter ay around 22%. So tugma dun sa expected nyo na 8k
Edit: my consumption pala (kwh) went down 25% not my bill. rates also went down 7%. over-all effect pala sa bill is less 31%
Newest model from LG is the IPM series, with anti-mosquito technology and 2nd generation inverter.
44k for 2.5hp + 6k installation.
price is from ansons. we're still haggling.

I think ok naman Lg Inverter..
Yung sanyo midyo ok naman. Pero ang issue ata service at parts.
Lagi sira. Had 6 repairs this year for a 1.5 year old unit.
Palit outdoor board - 3500
Palit indoor board -3500
Palit compressor - warranty
Labor para ikabit ang compressor -3500
Freon -2k
Recycle ng system -3k
After 4 months sira uli.
Leche pa customer service. Walang kwenta.
I also have LG Inverter. It shut off automatically even if I did not turn it off. Technician diagnosed defective motherboard inside the outdoor unit. It got wet according to them and they wanted me to pay for cost of repair and replacement. Duh!!! I didn't touch the outdoor unit at all. If it got wet, it was not my fault. There was probably fault with the design and manufacturing or with the installation. Why should I pay? In the end, I had to pay just so it could be repaired because it was out of warranty.
I don't buy LG appliances anymore.
mine LG INVERTER mag 3 years na this december... wala naman naging sira, regular cleaning lang....
i use it, every time im home... weekdays 12 hours, weekends 24 hours..

the authorize instaler should be the 1 to perform the waranty check and repair not the manufacturer. kaya impt na reliable ang instaler dahil cla mag cover ng waranty.
Yes. That was the sales pitch sa min. Medyo significant din ang price difference ng carrier eh.
Their installer's are authorized by carrier.
I think 10.5 lang yata ang eer. I think ok na for our needs. Told my kids kung naiinitan sila. Just play na lang sa room namin or sa room nila 😆😆😆
